From here, enjoy a leisurely 30-minute walk into the heart of Whitby or head in the opposite direction for scenic walks or bike rides to Robin Hood’s Bay, Ravenscar, and all the way to Scarborough.
Inside, Shalom is a comfortable and well-appointed home for families or small groups. The front-facing lounge features plush leather sofas and a TV for cosy evenings in, while the rear of the property boasts a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining area. Glass doors lead out to a fully enclosed, wooden-decked garden complete with outdoor furniture – perfect for dining alfresco or simply soaking up the peaceful surroundings. A convenient WC is also located on the ground floor.
Upstairs, you’ll find three bedrooms – two twin rooms and a master double with a private balcony. From here, enjoy sweeping views across the river, the viaduct, and catch sight of the heritage steam trains chugging by in the summer months. The family bathroom includes a shower over the bath.
