We had an enjoyable stay the accommodation was warm and cosy everything was clean and there was everything you needed. There was some initial stress trying to park we drove round so many times but eventually parked outside the parking zone and didn’t move the car for a week. Wasn’t a pro as we used local transport to various destinations which was brilliant!

Great Little place

Beautifully finished cottage in central location. Every thing looks almost new. Stairs are very steep and not for the elderly or those with physical disabilities. Other than that a perfect little bolt hole !

Cosy Jet Cottage

This is an old cottage newly refurbished to high standard. The layout is on four levels, and as we are in our seventies we found the narrow winding steps a bit tricky, but eventually got more used to them. The location is fairly central with most amenities just a short walk away, but just remember where ever you go, Whitby is a hilly town. Given the opportunity we would come again.

Great Location

Really lovely base for exploring the East Coast. Clean and well equipped rooms. Skinner Street has some fantastic places to eat and drink - found some new Whitby favourites in Mademoiselles and the Cranberry Swamp, plus Botham’s Bakery, Abbey and Arches, then Rusty Sheers and Sherlock’s just another street away. It was difficult enough day trip dilemma choosing between fish and chips or Humble Pie and Mash but now we have way too many places to choose from. We wouldn’t have discovered these wonderful places if it wasn’t for staying in the heart of it all at Jet Cottage.
