"the chalet was located next to another that had a tenant. he was noisy and disturbed ok ur stay. the manager stated there was a water issue and to conserve water. we did. the tenant power washed his stuff. woke up in the morning to no water and left ASAP."

"The apartment is fresh and clean and lots of space for 2 people. The kitchen has basic dishes, pans etc. and you will need to bring your own cooking supplies- oil, spices. There is a nice view of a bit of the Bay/Firth of Thames from the from the small deck. The deck is private. The bed is very firm :)It’s a great location for day trips out for some very nice walks/hikes on the Coromandel Peninsula and a relatively short drive up to the town of Coromandel. Thames has everything you need for groceries a some nice restaurants too. The School of Mining museum was interesting if you like historical buildings and museums"

"Sadly this was not the right accomodation for us. Stunning views but out a bit of the way so you’ll be travelling to and from a bit if you want to go out and do stuff, on gravel road etc. For us, the apartment did not feel super cosy or comfy and the furnishings weren’t as premium as expected based on the reviews. It was also quite shady inside - these were the things we were looking for in our weekend away. Beautiful spot, secluded and quiet and the outdoor bath was a lovely extra. "
