"We stayed for just a single night at the Politeama a few days ago. Our room was excellent - spacious and modern. The rooftop restaurant offered fabulous views and the food was excellent. Every member of staff we encountered was courteous, friendly and genuinely helpful. Top marks go to the concierge Dorotea - we had a challenging travel situation when our ferry to Panarea was cancelled. She showed exemplary, genuine commitment to identifying the best possible solution for us, and made sure she stayed in touch with us in case we needed any further help along the way. Against the odds, we made it to Panarea the same day, which would not have been possible without Dorotea’s assistance. If Sicily holds a Hotel Concierge of the Year competition, she has to be Numero Uno!"

The harbor and flowers, the sound of birds every morning, the elegant decor and original woodwork, all combine in a setting that produces one of the best vacations to Italy I have ever experienced."
