Cute little cabins
Cute places located in the town of West Yellowstone. It is located a little off the main part of town, but is a short walk. The cabins are clean, nice, washroom is excellent. Parking is easy, the staff is excellent, they have cute bonfires and you can make delicious toasted s'mores ! They have a small lounge where they serve breakfast, but our breakfast was premade the night before and we were told to warm it up next morning which was a little odd. Apart from that, the staff is so friendly and courteous, everything is great !

When breakfast baskets are given out the night before, that is due to guests requesting breakfast prior to our breakfast hours. In that case, we will offer our hot items that you can warm up in the morning. Otherwise, we do put fresh hot items out in the morning during our breakfast hours!

We originally had reservations at another lodging facility and were notified a few weeks before our trip that the on site restaurant would be closed during our stay. We cancelled that reservation and booked at the Golden Stone Inn. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DID!!!!! This facility was clean, convenient to everything and the staff was AMAZING!! We are already planning our next trip and will definitely be staying here again!

This place goes above and beyond!
Absolutely loved staying at Golden Stone. All of the little details like the blankets by the fire pits, s’more kits, and putting an umbrella in our room for the rainy day, just made it my favorite place.

The room was quaint and spotless. The only minor complaint was the hard mattress. The grounds were immaculate and full of flowers and hummingbirds.

Golden Stone Inn is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed in. My wife is extremely particular about cleans rooms and especially bathrooms. The service here is great and you wouldn’t need to think twice before choosing/selecting to stay here.

Great Place to Stay!
Adorable Inn. Friendly check in, room renovated and clean. Spacious and comfortable. Very close to little town and entrance to Yellowstone. The tour companies will pick u up there. Great stay. Highly recommend.

New and modern. Staff friendly and accommodating. Great breakfast set up in lounge. Lounge open 24/7. Beer and other beverages for sale. Never did figure out how to turn on fireplace. No recycling noted.

They've done away with the coffee delivery to your door in the morning, which is really nice prior to heading out to fish. They cater to fly fishing folks. The breakfast is awful, cheap, low quality food. When they opened it was actual great food, like an egg frittata dish. Of course, the cost has increased but the value and uniqueness is gone. 😔

It appears you stayed with us the first year we were open, which is great that you have chosen to come back! We have not done the coffee delivery since the first year, but knowing how you missed it was, it is definitly something to reconsider bringing back.Unfortunately, when covid hit, breakfast protocal for our hotel did have to change for us so we could comply. However, we are re-introducing homemade items. I do hope you were able to enjoy a morning where we served our homemade eggbites, which are actually the same frittata recipe, just a different stlye!

The staff was very friendly. The cabin was spacious, well laid out, and clean. The breakfast was great. Only two small issues over our 4 night stay: breakfast was a bit late the first morning and our room was not made up the last day.

We had a very comfortable stay. The room was nice and cosy. The property was near to town so accessible to shopping and restaurants. We didn't enjoy the breakfast. Not many choices. It would be nice if the French toast were warm. We tried warming them in microwave but they became crispy lol.

A wonderful surprise. Modern rustic decor. The cluster of cabins don’t look like much on the outside but the interior has all the special touches like ample charging stations, coffee maker and fridge, real wine glasses and coffee mugs and fluffy robes. There is a pleasant courtyard with gas fire pits and At night staff brings out complimentary s’mores kits for guests to toast marshmallows around the gas fire pits. The 24 hour lounge is a comfortable place to hang out. There is a microwave to heat your takeout food and silverware and dishes. The complimentary grab and go breakfast is basic but that’s the only complaint. Highly recommend as an alternative to lodging in the park.

It is a nice property. The room is updated but very basic. Dirty rag left in the shower, no terrycloth robes, no slippers as shown in the photos. There is no scenery as shown in the photos. It hadsnowed and we walked intonannice cold room and took forever to heat up. The reviews said the shower is amazing...it is basic. The photos show a love seat for extra furniture...it is a small chair in the corner. Thenwhole fireplace outside would have been nice to sit in the snow by the fire...but it is unkept and all snow covered walkways couldnt get to it if you wanted to. Honestly for the price you pay..over $200 a night i would be better off staying at a super 8. The only difference is here they have the snap together wood flooring. Not worthy of the amount paid.

We would have absolutely loved to get them for you. The furniture is different in each room, so we do also apologize if the photos made it seem like each room would have a loveseat. Some have chairs and some have loveseats. Unfortunately we have never been able to use our outdoor fireplaces in the winter/early spring and as there photos show, they do only get turned on in the non-snowy months. The large amount of snowfall we get prevents it. We do hope you were able to enjoy the indoor fireplace in the lounge! Thank you for all of your comments and for staying with us!

Nicest and best value hotel in West Yellowstone
This is one of the newest and best value properties in West Yellowstone. Came here with my wife for a weekend snowy get-a-way in the mountains. Beautiful location on the edge of town near the park entrance. But honestly everything including the best bar in town Buffalo Bar are just down the street or around the corner. Super helpful, friendly and responsive. We will definitely be back.

Our state was amazing. The accommodations are modern, clean and well thought out. It's a wonderful place to stay where the owners talk to the visitors. They are very helpful. I would gladly stay there and recommend it to anyone anytime.
