"Things to consider if you are a large person. The place was great and we had a good time. There are a couple things that are a little bit more difficult to navigate being a large person. The master bed is very close to the window on one side. It leaves very little room to get in and out of bed depending on which side of the bed you typically sleep on. The bathroom is good. The access to the toilet is a little bit narrow for a larger person. These notes are not meant to discourage anyone. Just a heads up for larger individuals. We had a great time the kids loved the paddle boat. The deck is really nice. We really enjoyed sitting out there and watching nature as the sunset. I really liked the breakfast nook. That was super cool. Not something that you see in many houses if any. I could not seem to get the grill to work. The proximity to Atlanta was great. The host was great at communication. It was an easy check in and check out. I really appreciate that the house was very clean. They left an air purifier running, which was really nice of them. It did a great job on cleaning the air. We were there during the fires in Canada that put a lot of smoke into the area."

"Large resort with RV, log cabins and Yurts. Newer facility so everything was nice and clean. Would recommend better comforter (had throws in the room) and careful cleaning and supply replenishment (had to ask for shower gel and hand soap) as bottles were empty. Waterpark and some other amenities incurs extra fee. Restaurant closed on Monday so we were not able to use the food coupon."

"Would not recommend staying here in the summer. I knew there was no air conditioning in the listing but thought being on the lake, at night, with the windows open, it wouldn't be a problem. The problem is, the bedroom windows were sealed shut, and it was 78-80 degrees in the house even with the patio doors open. I politely asked the owners if they could turn the air on (there are units) and the reply was a sarcastic response about how I didn't read the listing. Speaking of the listing, the photos are deceptive. The lake looks more like a swamp right now, and the photos conveniently left out all the deer and antlers on the walls. Also, 4 towels for three people for four nights was inconvenient. The listing says one of the bedrooms had two queens, which isn't the case.Over all, good price but didn't know we'd be sweltering all night without the windows opening."

"It’s a beautiful large cabin, we have a large family from newborns to great grandparents and it was wonderful for all. The house & kitchen is very well stocked with almost everything you would need . I was very impressed. Anytime I messaged the host he replied immediately! Highly recommend this house for large families!"

"The property was incredible with a beautiful and serene location in the woods. Private and quiet. Hosts were extremely communicative and the property/rental is labeled and intuitive so there’s no need to have to dig around to find anything. Great location for exploring northern Michigan. Would definitely stay here again."
