"Beautiful property on the very special Squam Lake. The house has so much room for a large group, we were able to spread out along the waterfront dock area, front deck, and screen porch. Lots of activities to do on the water, plus the tennis court was a really nice bonus. When it rained, plenty of room in the house for indoor activities. Private location, comfortable beds, spectacular sunset views. House had all the equipment and linens that we needed."

"Great location for enjoying the lake with all the provided water craft. Check out the science center which is designed for kids of all ages. Local market is the place to go for fresh morning pastries. Plenty of local hiking. Overall the place was clean, but it is a lake cabin. Cabinets were well stocked with dishes and spices. The washer and drier were a real plus. On the chiller days the kids loved getting out of the water to warm by the fire in the fire pit. Thanks for a great family vacation"

"I have been staying at cabins/cottages and homes on Squam Lake for over 50 years and this location does not disappoint! I’ve not stayed on this section of the lake before and what was extra special for us was the quietness and decreased boat traffic as well as the abundance of wild life including Loons, Eagles and a Great Heron that landed right next to us. The paddle boards and kayaks were a great addition to help explore. It was exceptionally hot this year (10 degrees above normal) and the place doesn’t have A/C which is not a complaint - most old summer homes don’t! I wanted to highlight this place (main house) has a whole house fan with instructions that made it a delight even in the heat of July. Additionally the owners provided fans for all outbuildings and each room in the house. There is always conflict between our swimmers and fishers so we were pleasantly surprised for two docks located at different areas in the property. Thank you for sharing your home."

"Nice small home. Lots of windows and light. The kitchen/living room area was especially good. And it’s always good to have a washer/dryer. The stairs are a bit daunting but doable. Would recommend leaving more room and shelving in the bedroom closets for guest use. And a couple of more towel bars in the bathrooms would be nice .Overall we had a good time while there."
