Renovated with a brand-new bathroom, kitchen, luxury mattresses and bedding, this modern 1800's barn with authentic details sits on the picturesque street in one of the most beautiful Catskills villages, West Kill ("West Creek" in old Dutch). This is a hikers' and nature lovers' paradise, which is also the fly-fishing capital of the world -- the shallow pristine creek is just across the street is a source of drinking water for NYC. The creek is perfect for kits: picturesque, super-clean and home to many exciting animals like frogs and trout!

We love European-style bedding and hope you do too! All blankets are duvets and are enclosed in duvet covers that we thoroughly wash between each visit. As a result, all the surfaces you touch in the bed are clean and you do not have to ever touch a comforter that could have been used by someone else like you would in many hotels. That also means that you do not need a flat sheet -- we hope you find that the duvet cover is a more comfortable and practical solution!
