"Our stay was unfortunately disappointing. Upon arrival, the walkway to the apartment was dirty, and there was a dead bird near the front door, which created a very unpleasant first impression. There was also a strong odor on the main level throughout our stay. The apartment itself could use some maintenance. The carpet was old and stained, and the insulation was poor, so outside noise was easily heard from inside. The TV was not working when we arrived and wasn’t fixed until the following...

"The Boat Inn is an incredible spot to stay in while visiting Oughterard or Galway. The rooms are so clean and well maintained. The check-in is really easy. I would highly recommend staying here. Plus it is in the middle of everything so you have plenty of food options and if you like nightlife it’s perfect."

"Very cute little spot to stay. Unfortunately the check in details were a bit off and there's no staff on site. We were given a front door code and a room code. The front door code did not work but eventually we figured out the room code works on both doors. The wifi information we were given was also incorrect. Not the best water for showering and the beds were very creamy and noisy. All things considered we still loved the property. Great value and a very cool spot."
