"We had a wonderful stay! Even in the winter, the location is beautiful and the water views from the house are gorgeous. Our host was so helpful and always quick to reply.Just a heads-up to pack your own towels and toiletries! We also wanted to mention for fellow pet owners that the stairs are open-backed; our dog couldn't quite manage them, and since the bedrooms are all upstairs, it’s worth noting for those travelling with pups. We loved it here and are already planning a return trip for the summertime!"

"We stayed here during one of the most severe snowstorms and had an excellent experience. Despite our very late check-in, the host was incredibly accommodating and responsive, helping us navigate the house even at odd hours, which we truly appreciated.The place was clean, well maintained, and very comfortable for our group of five. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the hot tub—easily accessible directly from the house and perfect given the weather.Overall, everything was thoughtfully set up and made our stay smooth and enjoyable despite the challenging conditions. We would highly recommend this place and would happily stay here again."

"We booked this cottage for 3 days over the holidays. We booked it under the impression that there were enough bedrooms to accommodate our large family. Online says there were 5 bedrooms however when we arrived there was only 4 and two of the teenagers had to sleep on the couches in the living room. The bedroom linens were nice and clean and they had ample towels and extra bedding in case we were cold.The space was large enough for everyone to hangout. The living room off of the kitchen is where we hung out mostly. Lots of tables and chairs for puzzling/ kids to play/ family to play games. The pool table was a big hit for the teens.One of our favourite things was the Sauna, it was easy to get the fire going and they had ample wood for us to use for our stay. Because we were such a large group we were looking forward to using two kitchens, however the main stove took over an hour to pre heat and the stove in the in-law suite wouldn’t stop smoking because of something burnt to bottom. The kitchen faucet in the in law suite was super loose we needed to wash all dishes in the main kitchen.The fridges look lightly wiped down but there was something gross at the bottom.The couches needed to be vacuumed, there was dirt and other crumbs from previous guests.The dishes were also dirty from previous guests and we needed to wash them before we could use."

"The cottage is beautiful, spacious, and set in on the most wonderful spot on the lake. To see the sunrise and sunset across the open lake was a sight to behold. The property was well maintained. It was pleasant to use the outdoor Sauna and Jacuzzi, and being around the corner on the lake meant the water traffic is quiet and good for kids to play and boat on the water. We are just a short drive from the Petroglyphs and multiple places to hike, as well as right on the Kawartha Highlands if you want to explore, what a beautiful stay! Thank you to Uschi and Rusty who were great hosts and very communicative when we had questions."

"Only the main house is usable, the shed (a separate room with a double and bunk beds) smells like a subtropical forest has grown inside. The main house it's okay for the price, nothing fancy, good for three people, washroom kitchen and two rooms. The TV needs and upgrade, they have a 25 years old 20 inches LG Tv (probably the first smart tv ever) apps wont work anymore, even youtube is almost unusable ( the 5mbps wifi conection wont help as well). Overall won't stay there for more than a couple of days."
