Dating from around 4000 BC, St Lythans has three supporting stones capped with a large, flat stone. Creating a chamber close to 6 feet high. It was originally covered with a mound, but that is long gone. One of the legend for St Lythans is each Midsummer's Eve, the capstone spins around 3 times and all the stones go to the nearby river to bathe. This I have to see!
