80th birthday celebration

good size property for the 11 family members who stayed. Good quality bed linen and beds. Felt the house was looking a little tired, maybe a coat of paint would freshen it up Kitchen was well stocked with crockery and cookware. We all enjoyed our stay.

Proximity to Wentworth Falls walking tracks

A lovely, spacious, well equipped house. Perfect for 60+ year olds. A bonus was its proximity to walking tracks and a beautiful gallery. Lush surrounds. April a good time to visit as the sun is still warm. One fridge was not sufficient for a group of 8.

Gorgeous cottage

We absolutely loved our stay here. Owners were fantastic to deal with. Cottage was very clean, well equipped and the location was incredible. Only oversight by us is that we didn’t realise until we arrived that the kids room is actually external from the main house (separate entrance to the cottage, not inside and upstairs like I thought). Our primary school aged children were too young to sleep in this space alone as there is no access directly from the house without walking outside and at night that is not ideal. This meant we had to change our sleeping arrangements to accommodate. Otherwise, this property was perfect.

Fabulous property

Glen Isla is an absolute gem. There are lots of accommodation options but this place is a real stand out. It is truly beautiful, in a superb location, well maintained with everything you could think of to make your stay special. The owners are lovely and go out of their way to help. We will be back!

The PERFECT holiday

We had a special family event at Glen Isla it was perfect !!! The house has everything you could possibly want, the kitchen is very well stocked we had everything we needed to prepare a family feast for 14. We had 5 children with us that never once said they were bored. The hosts were wonderful and very accommodating. I would highly recommend this house to anyone and will be looking forward to booking our next stay

Amazing Stay !!!

We recently stayed at Glen Isla House for a family birthday and had a fabulous time. The house and grounds are completely charming and had everything we needed for a great weekend. The house is in a great location, very close to the Falls and is well appointed with comfy beds, a fully equipped kitchen, ducted heating and excellent stereo (good cd collection too!) just to name a few! The billiard table and dart board were a big hit with the family. The owner Amy is really lovely, so helpful, easy going and nice to talk to. We had a wonderful stay and for anyone looking at staying in the Blue Mountains I highly recommend this property. We are looking forward to another stay in the future.

Beautiful house that provides everything you require set amongst lovely grounds. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Glen Isla sitting around the warm fireplace even though the weather wasn’t the best.Would highly recommend for large group.

A Beautiful Home

Glen Isla is a beautiful home which suited our needs perfectly. It has charm and space, and we did appreciate the Christmas tree, lights and special touches to make it feel like home.

Glen Isla is ideal for family or friend reunions or gatherings. The house is spacious and comfortable, the kitchen has everything you could possibly need, there are lots of entertainment options, the garden is beautiful and it’s an easy walk to the various lookouts surrounding Wentworth Falls. A great place to stay.

Great Location and beautiful home and gardens

We stayed at Glen IsIa for a few days and thought the home was a great getaway for our family of 7. Plenty of sleeping options and the kids enjoyed a few games of pool in the garage. The home is close to the Blue Mountains attractions and we enjoyed a good meal just up the road at the bowling club.

Wonderful Property

We recently had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful historic home . A great place that fit 12 of us in very comfortably , I would definitely recommend Glen Isla ,especially if you are looking for a place big enough for a large group,, we did not want for anything & was also an easy walk to Wentworth Fall & the surrounding walks . I will definitely return .

Spectacular Historical Homestead

This beautiful house is set in a lovely well kept garden. The area is quiet and private. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with high quality linen. There are 3 big bathrooms and a nicely setup kitchen. The living area and dining room are also large enough for big groups. Plenty of outside areas for sitting, eating, and a very good large BBQ as well. Glen Isla is the perfect location for family reunions or special celebrations, groups looking for something classy but nice. Highly recommended.

Excellent place to stay - exactly as advertised

Glen Isla was perfect for our family reunion. It was exactly as advertised, with no surprises - a rare find. The bedrooms and living areas were beautifully appointed, clean and tasteful. Entertainment for the home was provided. All 3 bathrooms were perfectly clean and kept in excellent order. Linen supplied was high quality and immaculate. The gardens are beautiful; a quiet, pretty place for a group of people to relax. We grew up in the Blue Mountains, so the area was familiar, and it's a great place for locals and tourists alike.

Everything you could wish for, and more

We had a fabulous, relaxed family reunion weekend at Glen Isla. Comfortable queen beds in 5 bedrooms, plus 4 singles in the loft. A kitchen with everything that opens and shuts (even a popcorn maker!). Over 100 DVD's to choose from along with plenty of books and magazines. All this and a stone's throw from Wentworth Falls Lookout and walking tracks ranging from short to long and easy to difficult.
