"We used this space as a “home base” for our bachelorette group’s visit to Bar Harbor and Acadia! It was in a perfect location and had tons of space for all of us (we were a group of 10). The living room space especially was great for watching movies and sat all of us comfortably. The kitchen was fully equipped with enough dishes for our whole group. The main detractors were the 3 car limit, which is a little tight for a place that can sleep up to 16 (although I understand the spatial limitations), and that there was a window air conditioner unit letting a ton of cold air into the main bedroom with bunk beds, so it was very chilly for some of the girls who were sleeping in that room given that it is November. Overall a great place for a large group! Dwayne was also very responsive. "

"Nicely redone property. With the upstairs sitting room it's almost a separate apartment.Showers are rather small and the ceilings downstairs are low which might feel cramped to larger people."

"We enjoyed the location and comfortably relaxed as a group of 6. We were in town for the MDI Half Marathon, and being steps from the finish line was so lovely after finishing. We also enjoyed using the fire pit next to the water and had plenty of amenities to cook a few meals. One note - the two single beds on the sleeping porch are not heated, so keep that in mind for stays later in the season. Christie was super communicative throughout the entire process."

"Everything was clean and easily accessible. The kitchen supplied just about everything we needed for our 4 night stay. We just needed to purchase perishables. The location was perfect, close to Acadia National Park but on the quieter side. We even saw 3 deer right on the property!"

"First, the house is clean, great location, in pretty good shape overall. The host is pretty responsive. Unfortunately, we weren't impressed by the listing vs reality of the space. The upstairs is not accommodating to adults! Felt like the listng could have noted this! There's a reason they don't show pictures of the upstairs bathroom or bedroom. You are unable to stand up in either except at the doorway. Upon arrival 3 outdoor chairs were broken. Light fixtures out. Kitchen table wobbly. We had 9 adults and manager tried to tell us they only supplied toilet paper "to start." One roll per bathroom for a full week rental is absurd. Owner eventually did supply us with more. Kitchen burners don't work properly. We felt like we had to pick and choose what to bring up to the owner. For smaller group and kids only upstairs not a bad place. Can't imagine 12 people here. "

"We were so happy with our stay! House was lovely, even better than the pictures. The beds were so comfortable, and the house came stocked with everything we needed. Hosts were kind and very communicative, they made the whole process very easy. Would definitely stay here again!!"
