"We love the location - we loved having a restaurant, ice cream spot, and grocery store/gas station across the street, and being 15 minutes from the beautiful schoodic point. The drive to the bar harbor side is about an hour, but it's an easy and pretty drive. The house itself was clean, well maintained, and beautifully decorated. Would definitely stay again!"

"We enjoyed our stay in this cute cottage. Some of the family saw a deer in the yard or first morning there. It was close to the tourist places such as Acadia and Bar Harbor, but still far enough away if you wanted to be away from the crowds. "The Inn on Mount Desert was perfect for our stay in Bar Harbor. The Inn was very beautiful with a beautiful garden and lots of outdoor seating options to enjoy nice weather. The breakfast was fresh and made to order every morning with a variety of options as well as things like breads, bagels, and cereal along with coffee and orange juice. The staff were always willing to help with anything that was needed and provided us with silverware and a bottle opener when we had leftover food. The room was kept very clean with nice decor as well. I would highly recommend this stay for anyone making a trip to Bar Harbor!"
