Spacious holiday home in ideal coastal location offering 2 bedrooms and an optional double sofa bed in separate ground floor room.
Bakers Yard is located to the edge of Wells-next-the-Sea, so away from the crowds, but is still within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants, we especially love the Wells Crab House restaurant & the award winning fish and chips at Plattens. The working quayside has many mooring fishing boats, along with fishing and nature trip charters. The property is ideal for a family or friends wishing to holiday together, and can accommodate up to 6 persons very comfortably. All being well equipped and furnished ready for your holiday stay.
The Wells and Holkham beaches are huge stunning sandy beaches, find a sand dune to make your base, and relax, swim and walk along the tide line for miles...nothing like it...and the beach and property are dog friendly.

Spent 4 nights in Wells . Property in good location to walk to harbour and shops. On three floors so need to be mobile enough to manage stairs. There is a toilet on each floor. Beds are comfortable . Parking is a bonus , but isn’t allocated. A small car can be parked outside the garage but it’s tight. A good property for a family as lots of space

Lovely house in good location
The house was very clean, tidy and in good condition. Great view from the 1st floor living area. Had deer visiting the pond on most days. Convenient location for all amenities that Wells has to offer. Really enjoyed our stay there.
What a fantastic find. The property was simply stunning. Well equipped’ maintained & clean. A super welcome when we arrived - thank you!!
Brilliant location -a walkers paradise - just a few minutes walk to the quay & half an hour by the channel to the beach. We had a wonderful weekend as a family. We’ll definitely return.

Bakers Yard
Lovely property over 3 floors and excellent location close to, but not actually in, the town's centre. Comfortable and clean and all appliances available. Great restaurant 50 yards away (Crab shack) and everything else within walking distance. Someone really should update the photos for the property as they don't do it justice at all.

Arrived to find the place totally uncleaned from the previous guests, phoned the number on the folder, they seemed surprised and said they had issues with software (if you know there are problems wouldn't you double check the bookings?), anyway they turned up after an hour and blitzed the whole house in little over half hour and apologised. The real annoying thing came when we went to the main bedroom and realised they had not changed the bedding as there was pubic hairs in the bed as well as sand grains! luckily there was a washing machine in the garage so we had to wash the bedding and sleep the 1st night with no bedding. Overall the place was a bit tired, it is a very good space with plenty of room and a great location that is only 5 minutes walk from the centre of Wells. Will never go here or book through Norfolk Stay again though after this experience, awful disgusting service, no one wants to sleep in someone else's dirty bedding!
Excellent location, well-equipped and comfortable house
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Bakers Yard. The house was located within a quiet group of houses but conveniently, only 400 yards from the quay and shops There was a lovely view of the river and walk to the beach from our window and it was an excellent base to visit beaches and lots of places of interest in north Norfolk.
The house was extremely comfortable and well equipped - a real home from home.

Bakers Yard, Wells next the Sea
An excellent well located property which provided a perfect base for our holiday on the North Norfolk coast,
The property was Ideal. Located just outside the key. It had a much needed parking space.
It’s modern and clean, a very enjoyable stay, we would definitely stay there again.
Excellent location close to town and quayside, with a beautiful view over lake out of the kitchen / diner room. Lovely and clean with lots of space. Well equipped with everything you could possibly need, including cleaning equipment and even dishwasher tablets! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area.

Great place to stay in Wells.
Plenty of space, we stayed as 2 couples with a small dog each, there are 2 separate bathrooms and also an additional toilet. As well as the main living area you also have a sofa (which is also a pull out bed if needed) and a tv (and ps4) on the ground floor. Great location, 5 minute walk to the quayside and shops in Wells. Parking can be a bit limited, first come basis in the courtyard parking area, if you have a small car you can fit it inside the fenced area of the property. Good facilities, with a dishwasher, washing machine (in garage), fridge, freezer, microwave, iron and ironing board if needed, Wi-Fi. Cleanliness was good. Beds are comfy. Really can't fault the property.

Long weekend break
This property is so close to the Quay (5 minute walk) it is a wonderful central location from which to explore Wells itself on foot. But also an excellent base to explore the North Norfolk coast and towns. The property had everything we needed for our short stay, including teabags, coffee and milk plus we were left wine and chocolates, a very thoughtful touch.
We particularly enjoyed sitting at the dining table on the 1st floor looking across to the gorgeous view towards the beach road.
The property was easy to find, but some specific instructions on where you are allowed to park would have been helpful as there are no allocated spaces. It was pretty quiet in mid October so was able to park in the area opposite the back of the property with ease. This is just a minor point and certainly did not detract from a wonderful relaxing stay.

Great location and very comfortable.
The house was better than I expected with views right out to the lifeboat station and beautifully clean. The location is perfect.
It was perfectly comfortable and just right for exploring the area.
Holkham Hall is well worth a visit and if you get the bus from just over the road from the house, rather than using a car, they give you a massive discount!
The house had much more than we expected. We would definitely want to stay again if visiting the area again.
One piece of feedback that could benefit other people staying in future is a more comprehensive list of what’s included at the house, we took a number of items that were unnecessary as the house had these. Which was great, I just wished we’d have known.
Overall a very enjoyable stay, lovely location and perfect for us.
