We loved how close it was to the central city. We were personally greeted and shown around the property. Easy to communicate with. Sunny and very pleassant to stay in

How do you describe beyond happy?
Such a beautiful home away from home! Excellent location with a little of everything around us - sea/harbour views was key for us as we live right beside it too. Our little whanau were out & about at the festival during the day but so nice to lay our weary heads in the comforts of comfy bed

Charming classic beach house with bay view. Near restaurants, Te Papa Museum, and city center. It has a small but functional kitchen and on-site laundry. We had great communication with our host which was very helpful. We had a short and pleasant stay.

Great location
This accommodation was perfect for our needs (a girls weekend). It was perfectly close to walk to everywhere we needed or just a really short taxi ride at the end of the night! Great being able to park our car across the road for just $7.50 for the whole weekend. The apartment was neat, tidy and clean. We didn't use the cooking facilities so I can't comment on that. Would highly recommend

Dinghy musty smelly rooms Heating almost ineffective. Electric blankets were good though and kept us alive Kitchen too small- was actually one shelf only in the small living room. Not enough utensils to cook or eat Whole house needs a good deep clean including ceilings which had cob webs Mouldy cheese slices in fridge Definitely overpriced. Felt disappointed and disillusioned

Hi, Thank you for your feedback. After every guest, the cleaners clear out all food in the fridge. So mouldy cheese slices will definitely not have stayed. The ceiling has just been repainted, and I have confirmed and checked that there are no cobwebs. The kitchen utensils provided have been used for cooking by many guests. Please reply if you have any special requests for specific utensils. We will try our best to provide the necessary utensils. The house is also quite airy, as we keep the windows open when cleaning. Thank you for staying with us.

Great location
We enjoyed our stay at the Private Bay House. Awesome location and good facilities. Check with owners of you bring a vehicle as we got two parking tickets across at the freyberg pool carpark .. even with vouchers

Hi Thank you for your feedback. The coupon parking is available on the right side towards the airport. Within freyberg pool and the left side is pay and display parking only. However, if you haven't already, you can appeal for the case as you have paid for parking, you just parked at the wrong spot. The council here is very understanding, so you will be likely to get off with the fine. Thank you for staying with us.
