"No swimming towels made available, told to make use of our bath towels. Swimming pool was dirty with crickets and dead frogs in it. The bath towels are old and hard. The bedding is stained with old marks. Paint is peeling off walls in unit. No-one emptied dustbins over a 2 days stay even though we placed this outside. Wine glasses on the shelf cracked. Iron was rusted and marked out clothing. Remote control for gate not working. Did not need or want to hear Receptionist’s work history....

"I was met by the doggy patrol who shepherded me to reception. The host, Bob was genial and helpful with itinerary planning. A very comfortable room and expect the pet donkey and pony to act as morning alarm. I hope i will pass through and stay again"

"This was our 3rd visit and the room was very well kept and neat. I cannot recall if there was an iron previously but we did miss this - perhaps a mini foldable ironing board and iron could be provided. The salt and pepper shakers had the wrong contents (salt shaker had pepper in it and vice versa). The privacy screen at the pool looks great. We could unfortunately not use the pool as it seems like a corporate group booked most of the cottages and spent their entire stay at the pool which left no...
