"There’s just something about staying in a historic Inn. The Lakeside Inn is a beautiful old property with a great pool and a beautiful view of the lake entertainment in the lounge is quite nice. The room was very comfortable as well as the bed. This is a busy Property so if you are going please book early the location for downtown Mount Dora is perfect. I have stayed many times and it is always been very clean and comfortable, and the employees are great."

And the remodeling and amenities to this hotel, it is a (sleeper) you would never know from the curbside view, but they have really stepped up their game super. Clean, super nice we will definitely stay there again. Normally we stay with IHG OR HILTON but this is our new hotel for sure. When we come to Ocala"

"I guess I was expecting too much from this establishment based on the location and price. I expected valet service but was ordered to move my vehicle to a self-parking area to check in. The staff members at check-in were not friendly at all. I wasn't given directions to my room and was offered no assistance with luggage. My room was less than satisfactory due to the mold-infested bathroom surfaces, worn and damaged areas throughout the room and lack of noise control from the hallway. I found clumps of hair in the bathroom and on the floor by the beds."
