However, the staff gave me the key to the storage room which happens to be in the basement: One – serious security breach given that other people‘s luggage was in there. My own had my computer. Two – it’s in the basement requiring older people to carry and find their way without any instructions. Seem careless, and this was the general attitude of the staff towards their guestsa "

"My favorite hotel in Jena, perhaps even Germany! It truly feels like a home away from home. The rooms are always spotless, comfortable, and have such a welcoming atmosphere that I immediately feel at ease every time I arrive. The staff are wonderful: warm, attentive, and genuinely kind, which makes the stay even more special. The location is also perfect - right in the center of Jena, making everything easily accessible. I always look forward to coming back."

"The real stand-out was the breakfast. It had absolutely everything, including champagne. The staff were generally friendly, although we did overhear a conversation where one member of staff was the opposite of friendly. Otherwise, staff were just wonderful. Our room was roomy ... the bed was a dream. Haven't slept so well for years. It is expensive, but the breakfast was worth every cent!"

"A lovely hotel, well served every 20 mins by the local bus. NB the evening I was there the restaurant was closed for a rpivate function, which meant walking 20mins or getting the bus back into town to find a restaurant. The hotel pool was nice BUT only open 4-9pm on weekdays. Come on hotel, that's not good enough!"

"Place was good, but not excellent. Really nice modern style, comfy bed and great bathroom. However annoying light outside my room from 6am-11.15pm. Parking a little confusing, would be good to explain before booking. Cleaner seemed to leave cloths/rags in the room, which had been used. Nothing around seemed to open before 8am for breakfast, struggled to find anywhere as I was up early."
