"This probably our worst stay in a hotel ever! Thankfully it was only one night. The place is next to a lorry carpark and gets quite noisy with engines running all night. Beds are uncomfortable with very very questionable sheets. Towels - would not use them to mop the floor with them. No aircon of course. There was a fan but it wasn’t working. Can’t keep the windows open because of lorries running outside. The neighbour opposite our room was listening to some music on his phone but it was like...

"Overnight stop on journey through Europe Just what we needed in terms of type of hotel, parking and location close to the river and restaurants. Breakfast was good value. "

"We had such a lovely, warm welcome and the staff could not be more helpful. Inside, the hotel is clean and welcoming. The hotel is very conveniently positioned and about 10 or 15 minutes to the tram stop into Basel. The breakfast was absolutely first class - plenty of options and the rooms were great."
