DISCOUNT FOR LONG TERM STAYS: For guests looking for accommodations while their residence is being repaired, we have reduced our per nightly rate to $125 plus a 15% discount for 7 or more nights. Our cabin was not damged during Helene, plus the power, water and internet has been fully restored as of October 20. The property consists of the mid-1800s Marion Frisbee log cabin (for guests), the 1820s Moore log house (owners private home), summer house/gazebo and gardens. The log structures were disassembled and reconstructed in 1986/1987. The frame section of the Marion Frisbee cabin was remodeled in 2019/2020 with the addition of all new appliances air, heating and an all new bathroom with a walk-in shower. Mostly, antique country furniture from the early 1800s (some locally made) has been used to furnish the cabin. Our guests have the privilege (8:00 am to sundown) of using our rustic summer house/gazebo behind our house and may enjoy the gardens by the many short paths. The combination of native wildflowers, roses, scrubs, vegetables, herbs, dry stacked traditional rock walls, etc. makes for colorful changing scenery from early spring thru fall.

We loved staying at this charming cabin! This was our second time staying here. It's very comfortable and homey. So nice to sit on one of the porches (one covered, one not) and have coffee. Great place to stay!
Spending the extended weekend in a nearly 200 year old cabin is amazing in itself but when you add the property with the gardens and gazebo, its above expectations. Great host(s) and fantastic area.
We had a great time staying at the cabin with our dog. The owners were very communicative about rules as well as our questions and needs. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit.
We had a wonderful stay. Cabin is immaculate and has everything you need. It is conveniently located into Asheville to go to the breweries. We will definitely stay here again.
The cabin and the grounds were beautiful. The cabin was nicely decorated and had everything one would need.
The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Everything about our stay was excellent.
Wonderful 1890s cabin with beautiful antiques, cozy accommodations, and great location to downtown Weaverville. Hosts were extremely friendly. The cabin was furnished with everything we needed. If in the area, would definitely stay again.
My son and his girlfriend needed a place to stay after Hurricane Helene while they were waiting for their ne This cabin bungalow was perfect for them. It was spacious, clean and quiet and near their work. It was a perfect temporary haven.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin! It was immaculate and had absolutely everything we needed. Very close to quaint shops and restaurants! Most comfortable bed we’ve slept on during any rental stay. Owners were great! We will definitely be back!
2nd time I stayed here. Vivienne was pleasant to work with. Location is close to the places I wanted to be and quaint place that had everything you needed (aside from an iron if you need that for your clothes). Would stay again.
We enjoyed staying in this unique property. It has everything you could ask for - all the modern comforts in a beautifully restored cabin. It’s convenient and filled with great books! The information about the area was extensive and very helpful.
Quiet, beautiful area with birds, butterflies and nice gardens. Cabin is decorated with antiques. Three mini splits a/c is really nice. Plenty of towels, shampoo and coffee. Would definitely recommend and stay again.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about this cottage. It is so cozy you almost don’t want to leave . It is quiet and relaxing. It was stocked with everything to make your stay pleasant. We can’t wait to stay there again.
This is a unique and very special log cabin filled with antiques and beautiful cabinetry built by the owner. Everything in it is welcoming, comfortable and fascinating to look at. The owners live next door and are happy to talk with you about the reconstruction of their log cabins.
The cabin was beautifully restored, well-updated, and an overall pleasant experience. It was quiet and nestled up against the woods. Location within minutes of downtown Weaverville and convenient to Asheville.
Highly recommended.
This site is an extremely well equipped and beautifully constructed historic log cabin. Bed and sofa were very comfortable to sleep on. Meer minutes to Reems Golf Course, Asheville, and Black Mountain. Dog friendly is a plus!
The cabin is beautifully curated with antiques, super clean, comfortable, great coffee maker and coffee!
Great porch and garden!! Host was also fantastic! Hope to stay here again!!

Vivian was a gracious host and her home was immaculate! Intentionally curated while also comfortable. I can only imagine the garden in spring!!!! Thank you for sharing your space with us.
The cabin was clean and had a nice little kitchen and sitting area. I'd say it wasn't as secluded as we imagined as it's pretty close to its neighbors and there wasn't an outside area, but that was not the fault of the host communication. It was just not what we expected.Check-in was super easy and quick. The instructions were clear. Check-out just as simple. Close to Weaverville and Asheville. Thank you!
