We enjoyed our stay at Katie's Kottage over the Christmas holidays! The house was perfect for us with everything we needed. We were greeted with treats from a local bakery and Christmas decorations! The location is convenient and very quiet during our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks for a great stay!
Everything was wonderful! It was so nice to have privacy and comfort. Shanna and Larry were super hosts! They gave us some local baked goods to enjoy and we sure did!Nothing negative to say at all. Will stay here again.

Immediately noticed how clean the property and inside the house was. Excellent attention to detail and loved the bakery goodies. I would not hesitate at all to stay there again.
The house is conveniently located within minutes of shopping yet sits in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts are super nice and the house is set up with all you'd need to make you feel at home.
Our stay at Katie's Cottage was great. It was easy to find with the sign at the corner and the extras were also great. We appreciated staying on the NC side of Smoky Mountains National Park to avoid the Gatlinburg TN craziness and we got to explore the local area (even Mingo Falls outside the park) as well. Thanks again for sharing the place with us and we enjoyed our stay.
We had a wonderful time staying at the Kottage!! We will definitely be coming back if it's in the cards!! Shanna and Larry were amazing and went above and beyond! My mom said that chatting with them about the history of the area was one of the best parts of the trip. Highly, highly recommend this stay if you're in the area!!!
Katie’s Kottage was the sweetest little getaway! The house was cozy in all the best nostalgic ways—like stepping back into my grandparents’ home, but with all the modern comforts. Shanna and Larry were absolute gems of hosts. They even left snacks and water for us when we arrived, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable three-night stay. Everything was spotless, check-in was a breeze, and the whole experience felt effortless. And don’t even get me started on Waynesville… the cutest little town ever! Highly recommend.
Super close to downtown Waynesville. Clean home. Screened porch and plenty of outside seating. Shannon even had some bottled water, coffee, snacks and gourmet cupcakes waiting to get us started! Friendly hosts😁👍. Highly recommend! Thank you!
Visited for a quick getaway. This cottage was perfect in every way! Within minutes of town, yet always quiet. Living furniture and beds were very comfy. House was well stocked with everything necessary, and was immaculately clean. Hosts made themselves available and were very responsive. I highly recommend this rental.
When we walked in the door we felt as if we were at home. We were welcomed with a box of delicious cupcakes, waters, and other various snacks. The house was very clean and had ample pillows and extra blankets. We enjoyed the front porch and screened in porch. The kitchen had everything we needed. We visit the area often to see family and plan to stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
Awesome property. The house is so beautiful. The screened in back porch is great. There are so many personal touches to the House. I did not want to leave. Shanna is the best. She responds very quickly to any questions. She even left some delicious cupcakes from a local bakery for us to enjoy. The outdoor space is wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this homd and the host. I will be back!
This property is one of a kind...you pull up to the driveway and realize that its not just another place to stay but a home away from home. The outside is well manicured and the people that live around it are very friendly. from the wonderful clean fragrance as you walk through the door to the gorgeous wood ceilings and fire place .. the beds are comfy and the shower is great... we loved setting on the porch and talking while sipping coffee and eating the snacks that was left for us in the moonpie buckett. Quite in the evenings to rest well its got it all.. would and will stay again. Thanks to the host for great hospitality

The his was a great quiet place to stay for a couple of nights. The beds were comfortable, the house has plenty of seating for relaxing, and there is high speed internet. The house was clean and well decorated. My favorite part was the screened in back porch to sit on at night.
