"We loved our stay so much, that we tried to add an extra night! Unfortunately, it was already booked, this place is in hot demand! The cottage was wonderful in every way: Very clean, very comfortable, and our host was very friendly and communicative. There were thoughtful touches and amenities throughout the house. The kitchen is modern, clean, and fully stocked, as is the laundry area and bathroom. There were plenty of towels and plenty of closet space for suitcases and belongings. The bedrooms are cozy and comfortable with good light for reading and comfortable firm beds. The bathroom has good water pressure, although it is a bit of a tight squeeze - one person at a time standing room.Probably the highlight of our stay was the screened porch with beautiful views of the mountains and a gaslit fire pit/table. Easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and lots of great overlooks and trails. Although we did not venture into Waynesville, it is a cute place with great shopping and restaurants.All in all, very wonderful and my family would stay there again in a heartbeat. "

"Clean cabin, good notes of restaurants, things to do, how to operate the hot tub. Tricky driveway, but when our truck got stuck on top of the mountain, the owners were easily reachable an extended out time for no charge and give numbers for towing services. Whenever we head back up there for skiing, my family and I have already decided. We will definitely be trying to stay there again."

"Newer property, clean, good location. Unfortunately most guests are construction crew for highway repairs working late shifts. Woken up at 4:15 each morning by large trucks backing into spots with safety horns beeping. Woken up again at 6am by day shift cranking large trucks and letting them warm up for 15 minutes. Talked to front desk asking if they could ask crew to not back into spaces and they said NO. "

"Great spot for a couple or a small family with a little kid (especially a train-obsessed toddler!). Fantastic location with easy access to Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Pisgah Forest, Waynesville, and Asheville. Clean, comfortable and relaxing. Great rental!!"
