"Had a conference event at Hilton Anatole which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel but at least 1/2 the nightly rate. Just a 2-3 minute drop off distance by car. My wife enjoyed the properly—weight room, breakfasts, pool—while I attending the 1 day conference. It was short drive to uptown eating and the SMU campus is about 15-20 minutes away. Breakfast was very nice and complete with options. The extra strong coffee brewed as served with breakfast in the canister was better than the grinding machine coffee—which needs to be tuned to be strong since the user does not get any options except to pick decaf or regular. The breakfast brewed coffee meet the need. Would stay again but there isn’t placed to eat within walking distance so expect at least a short 10-15 drive to Uptown restaurants. Beware the trolley lanes as you get into Uptown. Overall a very pleasant stay."

"Room was a good size on the 18th floor. Having the separate Gold Lounge or whatever was a surprise bonus. Based on having a room available they were kind enough to allowed me to check in early at no additional charge. Highly recommend!"
