I've waited 4 weeks to write this as I don't want to be negative; I will be honest and you can make up your own mind.We arrived on a Saturday late afternoon to find:1. An exterior door not only unable to CLOSE but also unable to be LOCKED so it was completely unsecured. I texted the owner 3 times and called twice. The maintenance did not come until the next mid-morning. For such a severe maintenance issue, I think the response should have been immediate. The house should not have been rented until security was assured.2. Without going into great detail, the entire home was so dirty. The kitchen cupboards were dirty, with old crumbs and food in the drawers. The floors, surprisingly, were not only dirty with sand and gravel but were filthy. We took our shoes off - respecting the home - and within 15 minutes of walking around, our socks were almost black!3. We went to get the broom and mop to clean the floors so we could walk on the floors without shoes and the cleaning tools were unbelievable! Black, dirty and filthy!4. There was so much dust and dirt on the light fixture above the dining table, we couldn't eat there until my sister got up on a chair to clean it.....then she had to clean the table as all the filth and dead bugs were now laying there.5.
