OUR UNIT NUMBER IS #152. FROM JAN 6 TO MARCH 5 2026 THERE WILL BE REMODEL WORK IN UNIT #143. WORKING HOURS ARE 8:00 AM TO 4:PM MONDAY - THURSDAY. FIRDAYS 8:00 AM - 3:00PM. NO WORK ON WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS. CONTACT OWNER FOR MORE DETAILS.

This updated unit is truly ocean front, only steps from the sand and water.

The unit offers comfort, privacy and views of the ocean from Santa Cruz back across the Monterey Bay to Moss Landing.

One bedroom units at Pajaro Dunes, "SHOREBIRDS" have the best unobstructed 180-degree views of Monterey Bay from Santa Cruz to Monterey that Pajaro Dunes has to offer.

Come ready to relax and enjoy this fully furnished condo, including linens, towels, washer & dryer, everything you need in the kitchen and an outdoor propane BBQ. Sleep on a comfortable king size bed and enjoy the 42-inch HD flat screen TV in the bedroom. Or our SMART 55 inch HD flat screen in the living room. We have expanded Charter HD cable with Showtime, HBO and the sports package. The living room has a comfortable queen size Murphy wall bed. The condo comes with it's own high speed Internet connection that will provide constant access to the Internet via your laptop, iPhone or tablet.

The condo is in the desirable gated "SHOREBIRDS" complex with twenty-four hour security. Unlike two bedroom units you will enjoy complete privacy from the living room and bedroom as the windows face the ocean, not nearby units.

Shorebirds is located along Sunset State Beach where you will have access to miles of sandy beach. After walking on the beach, swimming or surfing in the ocean you can rinse off in the outdoor shower on the first floor.

In the evening you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets from the privacy of your living room, bedroom or deck. Or you can walk out onto the beach where you will find fire pits for bonfires. Hiking trails and walking paths around the lagoon.

You have full access to Shorebirds homeowner’s association Pickleball, tennis and basketball courts. There is an onsite store open seven days a week. We have pickleball equipment in our unit.

Enjoy fine dining in Monterey, Carmel or Pebble Beach. Or travel a shorter distance north to Santa Cruz and other nearby towns for shopping, dining and sightseeing. World class golf courses open to the public are on the Monterey Peninsula, Pebble Beach and Santa Cruz. When in season you can visit the Santa Cruz boardwalk.

Above what was expected! Pictures don’t do it justice, and whichever cleaning service used, deserves a shout out! My 2 adult children and I had a fabulous stay. Plenty of space and amenities. Paul is a wonderful host, who leaves no guess work for anything. Plan to return!

Relax on the beach

This was a delightful, well-appointed condo on the beach. The decor was pleasant. Everything was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped. The host was very gracious and responsive. We would definitely stay again.

The beach is my happy place!

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo! The view was spectacular! The condo had all we needed to be comfortable and just relax. Paul the homeowner was easy to communicate with and we were gifted with a basket of snacks and a bottle of wine!

California Coast Getaway

We loved the condo. Perfect location, nice and quiet. The view of the ocean from every window was amazing, u are right on the beach. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the hummingbirds along with the waves rolling in. Everything is beautifully updated, the kitchen countertops were stunning as were all of the bathroom fixtures. We hope to stay again soon!

Peace and relaxation in a beautiful setting

This is a fabulous place in a pristine location with a great host. Easy routes to Monterey and Santa Cruz with actually little reason to leave such a great view and beach. Beach access is right out the front door. The patio is so close to the ocean it feels like you're overlooking your own private beach with privacy provided by the beautiful dunes. The unit is very well stocked and the host is very communicative and offers excellent hospitality.

Condo with oceanfront amazing views!

This condo was all that it was advertised to be. Amazing views! Very comfortable and clean. A few steps to the sand and ocean. It is in a safe area. If you are looking for a relaxing place to be on the ocean this is it. Owners were very responsive and we even arrived to a goody basket and wine. It was the best Christmas. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning!

Great place, excellent views. Place could definitely use a paint job and I washed the shark and shell rugs, seemed dirty. Better bedding would make a huge difference.

Great beachfront condo

The rental was just as described in listing. Beachfront and beach access was right outside the door! Owners were helpful and communicated quickly. The only draw back of this location is the property is in the middle of a large farming area so getting there is a little bit of an unexpected drive and there aren’t many restaurants close by. However the condo is beautiful and very well equipped, so leaving the condo isn’t necessary. We would come back for a staycation again for sure!

Destressing

Our stay was wonderful. We had perfect warm weather, quiet relaxation time enjoying the clear and beautiful view along with the sound of the waves crashing. Our walk was peaceful and enjoyable, found some wonderful beach treasures. The house was warm and welcoming. Comfortable couch and bed, fully stocked with everything you need. Surprised that Hostess gave us a welcome snack basket and wine bottle (no one does that anymore) it was so sweet and thoughtful of them.

Nice location!

This place was real close to the beach! Just a short walk down a sandy hill. The condo has chairs you can use to sit on the beach. The outside table at the condo is tall so you can sit on the tall chairs. We enjoyed sitting on the beach in the evening before the sun goes down. Also enjoyed hearing the sound of the ocean. It was beautiful there! It was only a very short walk. The water is probably less than 150 ft. from the condo. The bed and furniture are very comfortable.
