"It is a joy to stay at the Lawrence! The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and called after famous Irish patriots, poets and writers. The sitting room is beautifully furnished with a welcoming coal fire and a nice bar for a nightcap. The breakfast is of a high standard. Finally all the staff are so friendly and well trained. "

Our room was massive, the bathrooms were hard to find at first, but clean, and the staff were ready to help. We especially appreciated access to a kitchen with a decent amount of pots/plates/etc for making a simple dinner our first night. The property is a bit far from the center of Derry, but not unmanageably so; just be prepared for walking up and down hills! Check in...
