"The property was very pet friendly and super clean! There is a nice trail in the woods off the back deck next to the fire pit. We had one issue on arrival but we received a very quick and cordial response! I appreciated the natural light and well appointed kitchen. There is plenty stargazing and birding opportunities here and you do not need a 4WD to reach the cabin! "

"My boyfriend and I came here for a short getaway with our two dogs and were thoroughly impressed with all this property had to offer, not to mention how clean and well-stocked it was upon arrival! Hosts were very quick and kind in their responses, we would totally stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"The hot tub was dirty but the kids used it anyway. I think that is because of the soft cover. I expected toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags and there was some but glad I brought extra. I did have to go purchase silverware at the dollar store which I left there because there were 5 each spoons and forks and one butter knife. The sofa bed is no longer there so if we would have had 10 people as expected, one would have had to sleep on the couch. The only game was poker, no board games as expected. Overall we had a good weekend. Hiking was awesome as always! Appliances were all good and heat/ac worked well. From the Photos I expected to be more secluded but for the most part it was a nice getaway! "

"We had an amazing time celebrating my bday at this beautiful cabin. It was so peaceful and private. The hot tub was a large comfortable one and the fireplace was perfect! They had great directions explaining how to use everything in the cabin. We had a little friend cat come visit us while we were enjoying listening to the wildlife. We love the history of the place"

"We had so much fun for two nights at the cabin! We unfortunately had bad weather - with storms and a tornado warning. But we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit when the storms calmed enough. Cabin is out of the way enough to feel private and comfortable. Our toddlers enjoyed the twin beds and bathtub and the cabin felt safe for them. Walls were surprisingly good at blocking out noise so they could sleep while we enjoyed the hot tub. We are already planning to return for future vacations at Hocking Hills. "
