You'll have the entire cabin to yourself and will only share it with other guests in your party.

Located at the foothills of the Hocking Hills

At the turn of the century my great grandfather and grandmother, George and Golda Scott, purchased this farm.

In 1963, when my father graduated from Ohio State with a degree in agriculture, Great grandpa George gave him and my mother this farm.

My parents farmed this (along with about 900 other acres) and raised three daughters here.

After my parents’ death in 2004 and 2005, I, Dalelene, that middle daughter, and my husband, Dave, and our youngest daughter bought the farm and relocated here from Lancaster. We are so happy to live here.

After living “back home” for five years, we decided to use this beautiful farm for more than just a residence.

The George and Goldie Cabin is a way we thought that others would enjoy our 80 acres. So, with the help of Ron White Builders, we built our first cabin to allow others to experience the calmness, serenity, and solitude of our family farm. We named this first cabin after my great grandparents, George and Golda (I called her Grandma Goldi) Scott; the George and Goldi.

Wonderful little cabin that was clean and perfect for 2 people. The air conditioner worked great for a warm weekend. The fire pit looked new and had comfy Adirondack chairs. We used it one night during our stay along with the hot tub that was warm and clean.

Peaceful, cozy retreat!

My dog and I had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! I have stayed at other cabins in the Hocking Hills area, but this was my favorite one yet. It is so peaceful and very private, while still being close to hiking trails. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you could need, and my city dog loved being afarm.dog for the weekend and exploring the property. We hope to be back another time soon!

Nice, clean, cozy cabin.

The cabin and the land it was on were both beautiful. Cabin was very cozy, everything inside was clean. There is a beautiful fire pit area, but fyi firewood is not provided. The yard wasn't mowed unfortunately, which was frustrating, and the hot tub lid rack was broken so we had to carry it to the other side of the porch, but everything else was as advertised. Great bird watching, even from the yard/hot tub.

It was both of our first time in hocking hills. The cabin was perfect. Very quiet and cozy. A couple nature walks, listening to the rain and late night hot tubbing was just the ticket. D n D were very helpful with instructions and directions. Thanks for everything!

Amazing long weekend

This was the perfect place for a romantic long weekend get away! Perfectly private but yet just a short drive to many places to explore! The cabin comes with everything you could possibly need, and has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from home. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again ourselves!

Wonderful, private cabin.

The cabin is secluded but not too far from everything. It has everything you need and is very clean and cozy. The fireplace and hot tub were awesome. Good communication from owners. Owner was even kind enough to save us another trip out after hiking all day to bring me some Benedryl for a mild allergic reaction i was having. Wonderful owners! The only thing I might suggest is cabin could use a new mattress. We had an awesome time here! Thank You!me

Beautiful, secluded, cozy cabin for a couple's getaway

After moving our daughter into the dorms at Ohio University, my husband and I had an incredible stay at this cozy cabin! The location was peaceful and secluded, perfect for a relaxing getaway. Secluded and Peaceful

Lovely property and cabin, the scenery is absolutely gorgeous. Having a view of the sunset from the front porch was great! There are lots of trailheads and parks nearby which is a plus. I was more than happy with my stay, would definitely recommend!!
