"Great location in the middle of town. Lo Ely pool and sym which is free to use and opposite the hotel with access via a tunnel under the road."

"An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most perfect location. Well appointed, comfortable rooms with lots of extras (even chocolate on the night stand). Great shower with plenty of hot water. Lovely staff. Breakfast in the dining room was very good and well priced. Location can’t be beat and included parking for just 5 euros. Everything we wanted to see was a short stroll ( not long enough to be a walk) This is the place to stay!!!"

"Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The hotel is noticeably dated and in need of renovation. While the staff was pleasant, the room itself was not as clean as it should have been. The carpet was stained, had an unpleasant odor, and gave the room an overall unclean feel. The furnishings and décor also appeared worn and overdue for updating. With some investment in renovations and improved housekeeping standards, this property could be much more enjoyable. At its current condition, it did not provide the level of comfort we were expecting."

"We were travelling through ireland and had booked this hotel for 2 nights months in advance. A few hours before we arrived, we called to see if our room would have a mini fridge, we were told that they would have one in our room for us..great! We went to the grocery store amd bought $30 euro worth of meat, cheese and dairy for our road trips while staying there. Three hours later upon arrival, we were told there was a flood and the roof had collapsed and they couldn't accommodate us. We drove hours to get there, the roof didnt just suddenly collapse, so they would have known that when we called earlier enquiring about the fridge. They told us they had set us up in another hotel 10 minutes away. Now we load everything back up and head there. This was a "family resort" with a Jurassic Park attached to it. We walked in and there were crying children everywhere, not even an empty seat in the lobby to sit in. We called around to find another hotel with availability. We found the River Court Hotel and booked for 2 nights. When I called Jamie back, he was rather unprofessional and chastised us for choosing a "3.star" hotel over a 4 star. Expedia was amazing helping us get a refund and I would highly recommend the River Court hotel instead. Literal walking distance to everything Kilkenny offers"
