"Above the Clouds was a simply wonderful place to take a long weekend getaway. It was secluded and comfortable, but convenient to all the fun shops and restaurants in Black Mountain, just a short drive away. The cabin is well appointed and very clean, with plenty of things to do and enjoy without leaving the house. Communication was excellent and check-in/out was simple. Highly recommended!"

The pristine waters truly appear to dance as the sun sparkles on the surface. This home comfortably accommodated our large Christmas reunion with four families, including 5 children. Our guests LOVED the amenities of the home including large hot tub and dock on the lake fully equipped with paddle boards, kayaks, and safety jackets. The kitchen is large and well appointed allowing us to prepare and serve full course holiday meals. The Rumbling Bald resort is beautiful with great amenities including indoor pool. There are playgrounds in walking distance where our families enjoyed competitive games of "Home Run Derby." We enjoyed a trip to the Chimney Rock park which is now fully open for visitors. All our guests agreed, this was an awesome home and location for our Christmas 2025 Holiday!"

"This was amazing stay to say the least. The community is so nice with private waterfalls, hikes, and lakes. The cabin was super cozy and my big family of 11 loved it. The views around the cabin were spectacular and loved all the details inside. Ping pong, jacuzzi, fast internet, kayaks, the amenities list goes on. I’d definitely stay here again! "The lake home was very clean and had all the amenities to make for a successful trip. Parking is ample, the interior is roomy, and the outdoor spaces are delightful! There are walking trails near by as well as golf and a gym. If you need to go to the store it isn’t far. A great stay especially during the warm months this would be terrific! "
