"Nice quick check in and nice staff. Room was dated and small. There was a step up and down from bathroom that seemed a bit hazardous at night. Liked how close it was to Shinkansen station. "

"Everything about the hotel was amazing. From the room layout and appearance to the bar and staff. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I come to Japan."

"I've traveled Japan for 2 months. This hotel has the most comfortable bed and pillows. The breakfast was fantastic. Great parking area. A must stay hotel if staying in Hamamatsu area."

"This Ryokan was absolutely perfect. Train station literally across the street. Quiet area and the property itself was spectacular. Rooms were spacious, food was delicious. Also, onsen near the lake was peaceful. I would highly recommend staying here."

"Excellent location just a block behind the train/bus station. Free buffet breakfast that was actually good and varied each day. Free drinks throughout the rest of the day, including filtered water and hot drink machine. Downstairs common area is relaxing and well maintained.
Room was large for Japan. You could comfortably open suitcases and still have room to walk around. Beds are also larger than other hotels. We booked 2 twin beds and they were also similar to a double size. Pillows are very flat though. "
"Affordable with friendly staff. Our single rooms were on the smaller side, but priced so that we could each have our own instead of sharing a double. Staff were super niceand helpful. They have a really good and affordable coin-op laundry which was better than other hotels we stayed in. "
"Fastest elevator I've come across! My room was on the 39th floor..but it felt like i was on the 5th. Great view! The beds are firm. Just nice. I'll return. "
"This was just a quick stop on a long trip. It has a lot of potential if the staff, AC or central/fan system worked, and better amenities. the room was large and dirty, set up like a party room. So much more can be done to the interior decor to one account for the cost and the location, even if it is just to sleep. The shower area was way too large with some much open space can fit the offense of a football team in it, but the tub (shower/tub in one) was nothing fancy nor large. Very little hanging and storage space for the size of the room but it was just a one night stay. "
"Despite being a foreigner in a commonly Japanese space, I was treated with the utmost care and respect. Being able to sample multiple variations of green tea (leaps and bounds more complex than any I had tasted back home) while looking out across the lake was an unforgettable experience. I wish I had stayed an extra night so I could experience a few more of the available services, but I did manage to purchase some tea leaves and orange juice for the journey. A top nitch experience all around."
