Fastest elevator I've come across! My room was on the 39th floor..but it felt like i was on the 5th. Great view! The beds are firm. Just nice. I'll return.

Super convenient for rail travellers.

I really like Okura Hotel. It’s super convenient to get to from the station. Has a small mall attached to it and selection of restaurants in close proximity. No real need to go into the centre, unless you want a change of scenery. Frankly speak the hotel is starting to age a little, but it’s still quite grand and the views are exceptional given its size.

The staff at the hotel were excellent. We were able to drop off our luggage in 5 minutes. When we finally checked in they were professional and tried hard to speak English. There is a Family mart attached to the hotel which was very convenient.

Loved that Okura Act City Hotel had the Dyson hair dryer and offered such great amenities in the bathroom in our room. The pajama set was great. The radio in the room was amazing to fall asleep to. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful.

This is my favorite place stay when visiting Hamamatsu. It is very convenient to the station, shopping, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I recently stayed 10 nights and my only negative is there are no self-service laundry facilities onsite for guests.

Good hotel for a great price

We paid a very reasonable rate for a room with a queen size bed on a higher floor with an excellent view. The hotel check in was easy and all staff were courteous and helpful during our tay. We even booked in room massages that were very good. We came for the kite festival and booked this hotel because it had good reviews and is located right next to the Hamamatsu train station.

We had a good stay at this hotel, the rooms are a bit dated and there are limited options in the complex, apart from the hotel restaurants, two of which are closed. Comfortable rooms with magnificent views. Concierge was unable to book a trip to the Yamaha museum, which seemed strange.

Okura is an elegant and classic hotel situated centrally next to Hamamatsu station. The location is very convenient to nearby dining options. Currently there is construction going on so some of the restaurants are inaccessible. I would recommend to the management to consider improving the skills of the concierge/bell desk staff to assist international guests also.

Nice clean property, but had expected there to be a fitness area and swimming pool due to photos on the listing and on the hotel's website. Unfortunately, the pool and fitness centre have been shut down with no sign of it re-opening in the future. The views from the property were stunning though!

Good overall stay despite a possible improvement

Large double room with a nice view on the city and the ocean. The hotel used to be quite high end but really need a renovation to pretend keeping this status. I’m also surprised by the poor environment consideration (changing the towels every day despite the fact that they are still hanging, single use amenities, high consumption lamps, etc)
