Spring trip to DC

Historic DC row house, studio style. Just right for a couple exploring the city. Perfectly located in Capitol Hill, close to Union Station and Eastern Market metros. Great restaurants within easy walking distance. We had a great time!

A True Washington DC Experience — Location and Vibe Were Spot On!

Great location! Easy walks to major points of interest. Less than a mile to a gym. Coffee shops within 5 min walk in any direction. Grocery stores also within 10 min walk. Parked the car and never moved it once in 5 days stay. Apartment was exactly what we wanted. Fits right into the vibe of what Washington DC is. Awesome to stay in a place with so much history.

A great stay!

We had an enjoyable stay in DC visiting family and seeing the sights. Eric was readily available and so pleasant and helpful in every regard. We were out and about most of the time but this quaint studio offered just what we needed when we returned weary from a long day: small kitchenette, hot shower and a big comfy bed to return to.

Charming, clean and in a great neighborhood

Really enjoyed our stay here. Terrific neighborhood with Union Station and several good restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely, relaxing, and safe

As a solo traveller, I couldn't have felt safer. The location was close to everything I wanted to see on the Hill. It made for a relaxing few days.

Wonderful location!

We had a wonderful time staying here. The neighborhood is very walkable, the building is beautiful. It’s a great location, within walking distance of everything. The local restaurants are great, Grubhub for the nights when we just wanted to stay in. The only negative was that the family upstairs sounds like a herd of buffalo, stomping around from 6am to well after 10pm.

Great Rental in Great Location

Really enjoyed our rental. Place had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Just a quick walk to the Capitol. Not far from Union Station and Eastern Market. Lots of restaurant options in the area.

Location!!

Had everything we needed. Perfect for a couple. Felt safe walking the neighborhood both day and night. Walking distance to the Capital and other sights. Included parking was a huge plus.

Great Location

It is in a historic building, which is cool. The neighborhood is very nice. About 15-20 minute walk to Union Station and the Metro. Convenient location.

The location and parking pass definitely aren't given the attention they deserve! The apartment is walking distance to so many of the DC attractions. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, beautiful, and there were always parking spaces available. The apartment is adorable, and spotless. The bed is comfy, and the bathroom is somehow modern and quaint at the same time. Like someone mentioned, you can hear the upstairs neighbors pretty clearly. I will absolutely stay again.

Host was a great communicator. Location was perfect for walking to attractions, beautiful neighborhood, cute space and very clean. Parking pass saved so much stress and is certainly a good reason to stay here. Will stay again for sure!

Great stay in DC

Less than 10 mins walk to the Capitol. Cute cafes and restaurants within 20 mins walk. The place is exactly as described. Lovely patio space in the back to enjoy some fresh air. Checking in and out was a breeze. Communication with the owners were super easy and Eric was very responsive. Had a great time staying there!

Great location, cute neighborhood!

The property is even cuter in person! It appeared exactly as listed, it was clean, the neighborhood is cute and safe, and we were walking distance to restaurants, bars, and the capital campus. Checkin and checkout process was easy. The property manager was quick to respond to my messages. I definitely recommend!

Great little place

Stayed here for 4 days. Exactly as described. Within walking distance to just about every historic venue you could wish for. Only took an Uber twice and walked the rest of the time (wear appropriate shoes!). Host has been great and they even messaged us to let us know that we could check in early if we wanted. Would definitely stay again!

Great place in perfect location

This apartment is really nice - it’s a first floor unit in the back of a building (with a small outdoor deck). It is immaculately clean. It is furnished nicely. The location is ideal - quiet and residential but convenient to the National Mall, Union Station, etc. Excellent communication from the renter. The parking pass is also a really nice perk.

Just noisy

The place was clean and cozy. However there was a family staying upstairs with young children who ran around from 6:30 am until 10 pm off and on. Unfortunately it sounded like a herd of elephants when they did run.

Thoughtful touches

My spouse and I stayed for two nights. I’d say the apartment is DC-small, but certainly meaning it is comparable to other one bedroom-type apartments found in other similar favorable city locations. The owners demonstrate their consideration of guests’ needs by incorporating several nice functional and aesthetic touches. The bed is comfortable, and there is a two burner gas range for simple cooking needs. There is a nice sitting area on a small back porch. That is very inviting, however, temperatures were rather high and we will enjoy that at some future date. As we are tea-drinkers, we appreciate the inclusion of a tea kettle. The location of the apartment works very well for us, as it is close to many popular sites and restaurants, as well as to our daughter’s residence. We’ll be hoping it is available at our next visit. Communication with the owners was superb.

Awesome Row Home in Great DC Neighborhood

The apartment was "cozy", but was all we needed. We were 1/2 mile from a Whole Foods, and walked the neighborhood several times. Walked to an awesome restaurant 2/10 mile away. We were amazed at how safe it was, lots of dog walkers, and friendly folks. There was a patio, which was private, and much appreciated for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine. The owner was wonderful to work with, helpful, and very responsive, before and during. He even stopped by to see how we were doing! A free parking pass was provided, which was a must for us. That said, we uber'ed our trips downtown to museums, monuments, etc. The uber always arrived within 5 minutes. We would stay there again if were back in DC. Recommend it heartily!
