Fantastic tour on checking in! Incredibly comfortable stay including two kids (6 and 4) and grandparents. Owner was super responsive and attentive. The place was so well stocked! Would absolutely stay again!

Beautiful property, great hosts

I booked this on behalf of my parents + aunts who travelled in from S Korea. The property was so spacious and they loved the decoration. Anand and Lisa were very communicative throughout and even met my parents out front to walk them through rverything when they first arrived. My family enjoyed the location and ability to walk and get around without a car. They would definitely stay here again if they visited DC in the future.

Week for graduation.

Our family of young adult children stayed for 6 days. It’s location was perfect. Plenty of room for all and we really enjoyed the outdoor patio for coffee and cocktails! The owners were easy to communicate with and very responsive. Would absolutely stay again

Great stay in West End!

Our family of 7 had a great time staying at The Frosted Castle. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with, both before our stay as well as during our stay. A minor A/C issue was quickly fixed and the owner assisted us with parking tips for our rental car. We felt comfortable and safe at the property and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

DC Super Classy Comfortable Perfect

The 2 floors are a perfect stay, beautiful, each room so creatively designed. Private, owners are super nice and accessible if you need anything but we didn’t need a thing perfect! Very convenient location in heart of DC.

Fabulous!!

We had a party of six, including two of our grandkids, and our stay was perfect! Anand and Lisa were so welcoming and responsive to every question we had. If there was a rating above "superhost" they should have it! The location could not have been better, and the property was unique and delightful. It will be our go-to stay whenever we are in DC!!

Perfect location between Georgetown & US Capital area

Our family had a lovely time Fathers Day long weekend. The location was walking distance to the metro and free street parking for those who drove. Plenty of room and privacy for my husband and I, our 3 adult children and their significant others. The hosts even provided snacks, muffins, and gourmet coffee. My son arrived before checkin hours and they personally met him so he could leave his luggage. Had a wheelchair available for visitors if needed. Recommended restaurants and could not have been more helpful or available if we needed anything. We will definitely stay here again if our family comes back to DC.

Unexpected Find and Most Wonderful Stay

I highly recommend this lodging! Was headed on a work trip to DC last minute and had to find lodging for 4 of us. All hotels were booked & decided to look on Vrbo & came across this historic home. The place is beautiful and immaculate. We were all so taken with it. We were comfortable in our own room with a good amount of privacy. The 4 bedrooms are a good size as are the 2 bathrooms. The decor is modern & beautiful. Anand made himself available and couldnt be more accommodating as a host. There is not a negative thing I could say. I highly recommend this beautiful & historic home for a group of friends or a family stay.

Great DC Getaway!

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving holiday at this property. We were visiting our daughter at George Washington Univ, and this was the perfect place for us. We slept 8 - with our family and college friends. It was close to her campus, and was a great neighborhood with plenty of fun restaurants and cafes. It is an easy walk to Georgetown, and the rental scooters, that you can easily find, were a fun way to get to the monuments and museums. Whole Foods is just a block away - which is super convenient. The kitchen was very well stocked, we had no problem cooking a full Thanksgiving meal. Anand and Lisa were very helpful with anything we needed - lots of helpful emails with parking and restaurant info. I highly recommend this one!!

Family Vacation

We are a family of six (grandparents, parents, and teen grandchildren). This was our final stop on a historical trip which included Boston, New York City and Washington DC. This property was perfect for our group. It is located within a 15 minute walk to the National Mall. It is a short walk to the Metro, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods as well as numerous restaurants. This property was ideal. Everyone had their own bedroom and plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy this clean beautifully decorated property. The owner, Anand, went out of his way to be accommodating. He met us upon arrival, explained the workings of the property and quickly responded to any questions. The entire process was efficient and professional from start to finish. I would definitely recommend this property.

Beautiful Home and so close to Everything!

our family of five (with 3 large teens), was very comfortable in this beautiful home. Anand couldn't have been more accomodating and everything you read about the beds in these reviews is true-they are amazing! This row house is situated about a 15 min walk from most attractions and anything further away was an easy uber ride away. Everything you could want in a rental home is in this home-we cooked most breakfasts and had a couple of nights in just watching TV with the boys. The outdoor patio is lovely, though we never got to use it because the DC weather stayed pretty chilly during our trip. This home could easily accomodate three more kids or two families with 1-2 kids each. The linens were so clean and the cooking accessories were spotless. Thank you to Anand and Lisa for welcoming us as family in to their place-great neighborhood, great home and great people!

Beyond my expectations!

I cannot tell you how happy I was with this property. And it was better made by the hosts. The house is gorgeous and is decorated in a unique manner as to present the vibe of DC. The location is perfect in relation to all of the tourist spots. The house had everything. There was not a thing I could want. For cooking, you had everything that you needed. It was clean and the temperature was comfortable. I stayed in late winter and there are heating/cooling units in each individual room and I was never cold or damp. I have a case of severe allergies and the hosts went above and beyond to take care of me getting an air filter and also presenting me with specialty snacks upon arrival. And when I was leaving and my flight was cancelled, they helped me with a place to stay while I was searching for another flight. I was traveling with two teenagers and the unit is spread out to give plenty of room and stacked with activities for kids. I could really have not have asked for more.It is a beautiful place, great location, great comfort, and amazing hosts. You could not want more. And I would definitely book again and recommend to others as a stand out property.

Best way to stay in DC with family!

We had a mini family reunion and 4 of us including 2 people 75 stayed here. The property is beautifully furnished with each room having a theme and bathrooms and kitchens are fully appointed with everything needed. Excellent location. They offer use of a wheelchair which we requested thinking we wouldn’t need but we did, saving the second day for one of our group. Thanks so much for a great stay!!

Great Location and Wonderful Property

We are so glad we stated here. Such a cute place in between Georgetown and the Mall area. Clean and well stocked. The owners were incredibly nice. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
