Awesome location

This was perfect for us. Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the weekend and loved the location. Close to all the monuments, museums, and good restaurants. The place was clean and well stocked. Communication with host was easy and they were super responsive. If you’re looking for a good coffee stop near by, The sweet lemon cafe is just around the corner and was our favorite stop of the trip.

Capital Hill Comfort

The property was so close to Capital Hill and the surrounding sights which we were in DC to visit. This made our stay very convenient and memorable. With the parking permit we could leave our vehicle on the street overnight for our entire stay. The room we stayed in was cozy and quiet and had all the amenities we required. This unit definitely took the stress out of our visit to Washington DC. Even strolling through the neighborhood to get groceries was pleasurable.

The PERFECT location with so much character

I had an absolutely delightful stay and everything was as described (and even better)! The neighbourhood was perfect - close enough to everything, but tucked away from the mega tourist zones. It had a real "neighbourhood" feel with all the amenities. If using transit, there were a few bus stops very close by and the Metro stations were a moderate walk away (15 mins). The actual room was also very pleasant - a perfect size for a "crash pad", just as the pictures show. The property manager was incredibly responsive and very accommodating. Really, everything was great and if I ever return to DC, I'll be staying here again

Perfect DC getaway

This unit is perfectly located within walking distance of great food, cool neighborhoods, and public transportation. I stayed for 10 days and was perfectly comfortable in the room. The hosts make sure you have everything you need and everything from check-in to check-out is seamless and contactless. The bed is super comfy (great linens and I like a soft mattress so it was great), the shower has amazing pressure, and the kitchenette has everything you need for light cooking. I also appreciated the hosts made sure there was coffee available for the coffee maker so I wouldn't have to make a morning grocery run! I was able to work, relax, and get everywhere I wanted in the DC area easily. Would definitely stay again and appreciated the excellent hospitality!

For the same cost I could stayed in a hotel with breakfast, a large room and TV that could be seen. The bed was jammed in the bay window (on three sides) and the only on and off the bed was crawling from the foot of the bed - great if you are 20 - I am 70. Also the bed was so high I needed the stool to get high enough to get on it. The bathroom door did not close - it was nailed opened so anyone in the room got the full view of you taking a shower. Also there was a recommendation for breakfast - a 15 minute walk for someone who will get knee surgery next month - and the restaurant was out of business. It had been out for a while since there is a chinese food place there now. I thought VRBO sounded like a reasonably priced idea but after ALL of the extra fees, I could have felt relaxed in a quality hotel with free breakfast and near attractions. Never again

Misleading

Planned a trip here for my 10-year anniversary, and since it was our first time in D.C., we didn't need much space, just somewhere comfortable to relax after a lot of sightseeing. The pictures looked good, but we quickly regretted our choice. The space was very small. There is no mention of square footage(double checked on 3/9/24 to make sure I didn't miss it) but my best guess is about 200 square feet total. It’s in a row house with individual rooms partitioned into multiple units, so we were sharing the house with other guests. We could hear conversations from the neighboring units, even in our room.The room itself was cramped. The king bed was in a bay window area flush with the walls, making it difficult to get in and out. The living area was at the foot of the bed and about 8x10 feet, with a small TV and seat. The bathroom was the nicest part, with a clean shower and LED mirror, though the toilet had a sign asking to be patient with the plumbing. We weren't there long enough to find out what that meant. The problem with the bathroom is that the sliding door to it has no ability to lock and has about two inch gaps on either side when closed so offered no privacy.After booking another hotel, I asked the host about a partial refund, explaining the issues, and they offered to consider it if the unit was re-rented. However, I decided to keep the booking for the parking pass, and to leave this review so others are aware of the misleading photos and vague description.

Listing was just as described. It was clean, well equipped for our stay, and very convenient. The host was helpful and responsive. It is within walking distance of all the Capital sites and the Eastern Market shopping area. Check in and out was easy and convenient. The bed was very comfortable and the shower water nice and hot. It was great to have free parking on the street right in front of the apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

We were overly pleased with our anniversary stay in the studio. We decided to go with a Vrbo instead of your typical hotel room.Everything is as described in the add. Check in was easy and simple. Studio was clean and fully functional with all the features.Very safe area of DC…wasn’t concerned at anytime. Was able to park directly in front of the studio. We either walked or took an uber.We had an amazing time! Would definitely stay here again when visiting DC.
