"A lovely cottage in a quiet location,easy to find with the travel directions provided by Anne.everything provided that you would need for a short stay including wood for the wood burner,towels and bedding ect.it really is isolated so a car is a must ,with hartland village with its 2 shops and 3 pubs about 5 minutes drive away.saying that we did walk to hartland quay in about 45 minutes where there is a lovely pub with stunning views.would most definitely stay here again."

"Stayed for Christmas and it was a lovely quite location, with a short walk across the fields to the picturesque village.Made to feel welcome by the locals had a good local shop with all the amenities, pubs were excellent we ate in the Anchor inn food was fantastic.The house was Beautiful looking the garden was brilliant for our dog, the pictures don’t do the place justice it was so much better.The Christmas decorations just made the whole stay more festive.Would definitely go back there again"

"We loved it. Annie is a wonderful host. House is kept clean and well maintained. Sauna and hot tub are checked regularly. The fire place was a blessing at any time of the day or night. And that lack of towns or city noises , just complete silence. I can’t remember when I enjoyed the silence so much. We will definitely back again. "

"It’s a very nice quiet surrounded with the lush green area and it has very Pleasant walking trail which takes you to the beach About 20 minutes walk . I would recommend this place if somebody looking for a nice and quiet break"

"An amazing property but unfortunately one of the 3 beds was broken. The hosts told us in advance but didn’t realise we were 3 people and not the 2 they assumed were coming as they didn’t check the booking properly. They left us an out of date box of chocolates as compensation! 2 bedrooms could have worked ok but the largest room only had a bath not a shower. This meant either walking round the outside of the building or going up one flight of stairs and then down another to get to the spare shower. "
