"Lovely cosy cottage with gorgeous views. Owner was really friendly checking we’d settled in ok. Great location (as long as you have car) to get to nearby towns and attractions. Shame there wasn’t a pub within walking distance (as the road was too risky to walk on at night), however, the food and staff at the local pub in Yetholm (approx 1.5mile) were lovely and welcoming and food great! The only criticism I’d have of the cottage is that the bathroom and some decor could do with updating, however...

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend. The staff were incredibly welcoming to both us and our dog, special mention to Lauren who took the time to give us information on Berwick and phoned around to source a dog-friendly taxi for us. All the staff were friendly and helpful, we didn’t have a meal but the drinks and cocktails were all excellent. The hotel was clean, the bed & pillows comfortable. A lovely little welcome box for our collie was a special touch and much appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we would love to visit again!"

"This was a perfect place to stay as a stopover for going to Edinburgh university open day. The family room we had was clean and tidy. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was well priced and delicious. We used the disabled parking space right outside the hotel so didn’t see the main car park. When booking I didn’t check for a lift this was ok for me but all bedrooms are upstairs."

"Pet friendly hotel and cottages. Plenty of areas to walk around the grounds. In the hotel there is a pet friendly bar and restaurant area. The clubhouse has food too. There is a small shop, lovely pastries. The only issue is no welcome pack with a map of the grounds, how to work the hob, cooker and heating. Even the staff didn’t know how to work the heaters! One out of three worked after a google search. However this will not stop us going back. Staff were friendly and helpful."
