"overnight stay for a concert. Checked in late but it was smooth. Probably the best hotel I've stayed in for a long time. Very clean and well maintained. Nice room and nice breakfast. My wife was even impressed which is saying something."

"Becca met me upon my arrival and helped take my things to the camper. She made sure I had everything I needed and said if there was anything I forgot or needed, to just ask. I didn't get to enjoy the trails as much as I wanted, because this was a working retreat for me. I would remind guests to bring bug repellent in case you do walk the trails to keep mosquitoes at bay. There are many friendly chickens in the area and there were two deer outside the camper this morning. The kitchen had everything I needed and the refrigerator was big enough for my needs. It was cozy, but very comfortable. The bed was nice, too and the TV had good reception. Although this place is in the same county I live in, the surrounding hills and woods made me feel like I was hours away. I will definitely go back and explore the trails and get better acquainted with the chickens!"

"This was the perfect stop for me and my pugs. I was traveling through, and it was a gem to find such a comfy spot for one (or two if you need a romantic get away). Hosts were super friendly and easy to talk to. My pugs loved the chickens and I loved the peace and quiet of the wind flowing through the trees. The pictures don’t do it justice, it is rustic, but comfortable."

"I have stayed in many VRBO properties, but this absolutely was amazing! The property is secluded and private and beautiful, and the building itself is a wonder! Everything was top-notch, super clean, tons of amenities, and the father/son who made this as a labor of love, could not have been kinder and more responsive to everything. we were there during a huge tornado that hit in town, and they checked on us several times, once actually coming out just to see if we were OK, as well as offering their own storm shelters if we felt unsafe. It was a wonderful trip to Charleston made even better by having such beautiful accommodations! We’ll be back!!!"
