"It was an excellent option for people who don’t like the monotony of hotels. We loved the small town feel of the area! The decor is nice even though it wasn’t our first pick and there’s just enough room in the room.
The only complaint we have is the grout in the bathroom needs cleaned and the bed was terrible, it looks like it’s going to be firm and then you lay down and you sink into the middle. The pillow were flat and didn’t give you any kind of comfort."

"The hotel is very nice with the outdoor patio area with lots of furniture and tables to sit at. Rooms are spacious and well maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. Very convenient drive into the city and ample parking at the hotel. Really like the area as well. Feel safe and the area is nice"

"This was a great wknd get-away spot for some rest and downtime. I wanted something that felt like I was outside of Kansas City but didn’t want to drive too far. This was perfect. Great part of town: coffee, fun shops, drinks, food, trail to walk/run. Room was very clean and comfortable; updated accommodations. Small fridge and microwave were helpful to have. The host was very responsive! The only down side to my stay was the whistle of train that runs through the town. "
"Such a great location for a weekend getaway! Unit was right on mainstreet, steps away from cute shops, restaurants, farmers market, antiques, mini golf, etc. Nature sanctuary was just outside town and offered easy walkable natire trails with wildlife sightings! Close enough to KC that we drove to a few used bookstores before coming back to our modern and comfy room. Great communication with hosts, great space overlooking mainstreet....with a coffee shop right across the street:)"
