The room was nice the appearance was nice in the lobby and bar area as well. The bartender didnt show up for the 2 days we were there so we were unable to enjoy the bar. The staff when we arrived was very pleasant, I cant say the same for when we left. The gentleman who was running the front seemed to be irritated to assist us. The gentleman who works the front quoted me $85 to get to JFK by taxi, handed me a signed paper and told me to hand it to the front desk when we were to check out. We did that, however no taxi was reserved for us at the quoted time. They reached out to a sister hotel to assist. Now we are 20 minutes leaving later than expected, and now the price is $100 over the $85. No one kept their word on following through. So cleanliness, it was very nice.

The location was still good for a Saturday stay with a lower rate b/c subway stations are close by as is Pier 11 to get over to DUMBO quickly. The neighborhood wasn’t a ghost-town even a good bit after midnight. Room was clean and nice.

"I travelled solo for a 5 night stay. The hotel is right next to Penn Station and in a great location. The staff let me check in several hours early. The room was clean, good AC and I liked that the decor. It is an older building but upgrades have been made. I would stay here again."
