"Our room was not a refurbished one. My bedside light was not working, flushing the toilet was not good, the shower had a problem the wash water stayed in, the towels very old and worn out, the TV set didn’t work, the changed it when I reported it though. The staff were polite but not experienced with international guests and their bank cards. We rushed to do whatever we needed to do before it went dark, because the lights were ever sooo dim. Otherwise ok!"

"This is a superb place to stay, especially if travelling by motorcycle - and let's be honest, that's who they're aiming their business at. The owner and staff are just great, the food is incredible, and the outside seating area at the front is perfect to sit and chill out. There's covered bike parking on site with security cameras which is very reassuring. Ok, the room décor is a little dated and the beds aren't the comfiest you'll ever sleep in, but it's all very charming and honest. I'd come back in a heartbeat."

"The good= room had a balcony, hotel is nicely situated in a tranquil location, buffet style breakfast was adequate, water/coffee are free, alcohol is available for purchase. What could be improved= overall the hotel could use a facelift, check-in/welcome was ok, not sure, if the onsite restaurant was even in operation, castle is not walking distance and closes at 5 pm. Booked the hotel for its peaceful location, but noisy guests below my room did not let me enjoy my balcony. Please consider changing the color of the yellow awning in the front. Thank you."

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.Bäckerei ist in der gleichen Straße und der See fußläufig.Das Haus liegt direkt im Ort, uns hat das allerdings nicht gestört, es ist auch nicht laut. Sehr empfehlenswertes Ferienhaus und super nette Gastgeber.Der Innenhof zum Sitzen ist ein Traum."

"Absolute Empfehlung für eine wirklich außergewöhnliche Unterkunft!Sind aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus gekommen, haben jeden Tag neue Details entdeckt, die Scheune ist ein Gesamtkunstwerk!Was Komfort anbelangt, muss man zwar ein, zwei Augen zudrücken... sehr enge Wendeltreppe, außer der große Tisch keine Ablage-/Arbeitsflächen in der Küche, in oberem Schlafzimmer kleine "Stolperfalle", alle Räume sind ein wenig düster, Herd muss mit Holz befeuert werden... ...wobei eben das dann auch den Charme ausmacht. Der Lichteinfall aus unterschiedlichsten Richtungen setzt künstlerische Details passend in Szene! Fast fühlten wir uns in eine altertümliche "Burg" versetzt.Das absolute Highlight war für mich das große Bad mit hölzernem Waschzuber!Und wunderschön anzusehen ist das Wohnzimmer im ersten Stock mit Kirchenbank und Klavier, Rundfenster, Kronleuchter, verschiedene Spiegel sorgen für romantischen Lichteinfall!Hat man sich erst mal arrangiert mit den vorliegenden Gegebenheiten, ist es ein absolutes Erlebnis!Auch beim Rundgang ums Haus gibt es vieles zu bestaunen, Orangerie, Garten, schmiedeeiserne Kunst...Menschen, die es penibel sauber und ordentlich haben möchten, sind hier vielleicht etwas überfordert, aber alle, die besonders ungewöhnliche Locations zur Übernachtung suchen, werden hier fündig!!!Die Betten sind übrigens mega bequem!Unser Dank geht an Ronny, der als Host beste Arbeit leistet, jederzeit erreichbar, Check-in und Kommunikation völlig unkompliziert !!!"
