Really lovely, wholesome, picturesque place to stay. Conveniently located and walkable between 2 restaurants and a small market, very easy drive to the glow worm caves.

Cabin was nice. Spacious with a little deck. Wish we had a view other than the carpark. Everything was nice and clean except the hot tub which looked kinda grimy. We were not really warned that pots and pans were only available till 8p, so we had to borrow some from other guests to cook dinner. Very convenient location for caves, visitor center, and a couple restaurants.

Nice cabin to stay in Waitomo
Enjoyable stay at Waitomo, our cabin was roomy and warm. Good location in town with kids playground and outdoor pool. They enjoyed it. Caves were great as usual, glow worms putting on an excellent display, well worth the visit.

Barely comfortable than camping
There's no hot water in the room. As I entered, I can clearly see that the curtains are very dirty and looks moldy. There's a $2 fee/towel if you want to use one. There's free Wifi, but its only free up to 1GB of download after that you have to pay. We booked a 2 night stay, but left after the first night.

Location, location, location… We chose this place because it is very close to the Waitomo Caves. It’s a mixed campground and motel, with small bungalows. Our bungalow was cozy and simple, with no frills. But it was nice enough for a one night stay and met our expectations.

The shower was hopeless. It was a flat shower bottom as part of the bathroom floor - instead of the water being contained and drained from the shower "outline" - the bathroom and kitchen flooded with water. Otherwise, everything else was lovely and clean and we really enjoyed staying here.

Amazing sunset views from the porch of the tiny suites. Beautiful land scape. Clean and luxurious rooms. Feels like staying at a villa. Walking distance to a bar and couple of restaurants. Location is close to glow worm tours. We would definetly stay again.

The receptionist at this property is what all receptionists should rate themselves by. Absolutely fantasic service and amenities here. Close to the activities we wanted to do and great food within a 3 min walk. Fantastic. I would stay here again and look to stay at other villages accross NZ.

thankyou for your feedback, we are very excited to see our pool up and running, the spa was located next to the pool apologies our team could of pointed that out. the vending machine is a new addition to the park just dropped off and is awaiting suppliers to re stock.

We had an ensuite cabin with kitchen. Plenty of room, clean and comfortable. Location handy for the various cave options in Waitomo Caves. Site generally was well kept but we didn't need to use communal facilities so couldn't comment on those.
