"Rydges Wellington is a good hotel, we had a lovely room that had views to the harbour which was nice - the room was very clean, hotel staff lovely, however the heater / air con in the room is old and very loud."

"The view from the 22nd floor was amazing. Staff were very helpful and the whole hotel was well maintained and very clean. The only difficulty we had was the parking. The parking spots were very tight for the size of our vehicle but we did get our car to fit in the parking spot eventually. Besides the parking, we had a beautiful time while staying at the James cook hotel and we will definitely return to stay again the next time we are back in Wellington. Thank you to the team at the James cook hotel"

"This is a fantastic, more affordable wing to the QT hotel. Ideal location, some awesome amenities, comfortable beds. The reason for the cheaper rates in these rooms is their age and minimal refurbishment. They probably over deliver on their price however. Recommended!!"
