Ma'alaea Banyans is located in the peaceful village of Ma'alaea and is conveniently located 20 minutes from the airport, Kahului, Lahaina, Kihei and more! In the winter months you can enjoy Whale watching from your lanai! You will never forget the first time you see a whale breach, it is guaranteed to be a memory you cherish! When the water is calling Ma'alaea Harbor is a five-minute walk around the corner and is the best place to book a snorkel tour to Molokini and Turtle Town, sunset cruise or whale watching trip! At Ma'alaea Harbor there are shops, restaurants and the Maui Aquarium!

The complex features an oceanfront pool and the only hot tub in Ma'alaea! There is gated beach access or a short five-minute walk takes you to Haycraft Park where you can walk for five miles across Sugar Beach, known for its soft white sand and is one of the best beaches on Maui! If you are lucky to visit during a strong South Swell you will be able to watch surfers flocking to the World Famous Ma'alaea Pipeline! Grab a chair and head down to the beach to take it all in or enjoy from the comfort of your private lanai.

This top floor 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom condo has been recently updated and is thoughtfully furnished and stocked to make this unit your home away from home! The living room features a dining area for four people that is open to the lanai for indoor/outdoor living! Open the windows to enjoy the cooling trade winds! The kitchen is fully stocked for the chef of your family! All new vinyl plank flooring installed on main level in late 2022.

The Tradewinds Market is located down the street to pick up the essentials and cook up your favorite meal for al fresco dining on the lanai. Located on the first floor is the guest bedroom with queen size bed and a bathroom located off the hallway that has been recently updated! The primary bedroom is located upstairs with a queen size bed and en suite bathroom that features an updated vanity and shower. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves lapping on the shore!

There is an added bonus room upstairs with a trundle twin bed and TV making it the perfect private getaway for the keiki (kids)! This condo is the perfect for couples and small families! The living room features an AC unit and there are ceiling fans throughout the unit. There is a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

5 Stars — Would book again!

Beautiful property with a great location!! You’re only 20-30 minutes to locations like Paia and Kaanapali. The apartment was clean/updated, the beds were comfortable, the patio view was incredible (we saw whales and turtles while drinking our coffees!). Highly recommend and would book again!

Beautiful and convenient location. We were able to travel to all of the other areas of the island with ease from here. The hot tub looking out into the bay was so nice. Wanted to give à five star but there were a few housekeeping issues. The glass doors were covered in fingerprints and the dishes had food on caked on. The speaker on the living room tv was blown out and we experienced some water backing up in the shower- likely from sand build up in the drain but was inconvenient.

Great location

Great location, amenities, and AMAZING view! It felt like a peaceful retreat, just a short drive from main areas and short walk to essential shopping, food, and the harbor. Loft area was not very clean (mainly the carpet - obviously not vacuumed as upon arrival we found dirt, sand, beads…). Overall, definitely recommend.

Like Whale Watching?

This place is a compact 2 bedroom that has an amazing view of the ocean and whales at play (in winter) as well as a view of the entire mountain of Haleakala right off the Lanai. Nice kitchen, nice bedrooms. Seating (one couch, no chairs - except for bar chairs and outside chairs), and dining not the best, but useable.

Wonderful Maui!

The location was nicely placed close to a nice beach and shops/restaurants and harbor. Saw turtles daily! Nice unit and timely communication with owners. Great space for 2 people as not set up for more than that regarding eating. Small kitchen and hallways made it challenging to prep meals and enter/exit unit with items in hand. Overall very nice!!

Great location on the beach... love hearing the waves

Property is great.. got to see sea turtles every day.. easy walk to local beach.... easy walk to sea excursions.. only issue is there is limited air conditioning... we ended up not using it.. we just used trade wind flow through condo.

4th visit to Maui Banyans

We love this place! Very quiet. Kitchen well stocked and love to sit on the lanai! Close to a nice beach walk that isn’t crowded. The only thing I would change is the sofa. It is very firm and becoming uncomfortable. Also, for those that may have mobility issues, the chairs on the lanai are quite tall. I like the laundry upstairs. We will return!!

Beautiful View

The view was amazing and it was wonderful hearing the waves at night. Condo was immaculate upon arrival and the kitchen is well-provisioned. It was nice being between Kihei and Lahaina and there are a couple of restaurants within walking distance. We saw turtles and whales from the balcony (mid-March). The couch and beds uncomfortable. The futon/frame was terrible. My 10yo son put the futon mattress on the floor. We ended up purchasing a twin memory foam from Walmart to put on top of the mattress. It was quiet and peaceful at night.

Whale season awesomeness

The location to view the whales could not be any better. Other than sometimes the view was obstructed by the palm leaves 😜. We see whales daily. The location is central to many things but a car is needed. The floors were a bit dusty and likely due to sand. It was bearable wearing slippers or socks. No big deal and not worth having the management redo it. The unit was well stocked with all the necessarites for a great stay. Airport flight path does go over area which is not an issue for us but for the noise sensitive might be an issue. We definitely would stay here again. Great value.

A week in paradise

This Maaleaa Banyons condo lived up to its description. It was a wonderful location on the island, and the unit and grounds were in perfect shape. We like to cook, and the kitchen had every amenity to make that easy. True, there is no beach right out front, but it was an easy walk to the park at the end of the road, with a lovely sandy beach, shady trees, and no waves to knock you over while trying to enjoy the water. And I did enjoy watching the turtles that congregate among the rocks in front of the condo. The only thing that disappointed was the outdoor dining table and chairs on the unit's lanai. They were uncomfortable to sit in, and because they sit up very high, it was difficult to get in and out of your chair.

Lovely Stay in Maui

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this condo is fantastic situated between West and South Maui it was a breeze to get to either side quickly. The ocean front was glorious to sit out to have our morning coffee and the constant sound of the waves was dreamy.This unit served our needs during our stay, however, there are some things that could use updating/replacing. The carpet on the stairs in the loft is in desperate need of replacement. It's dirty and stained and I'm not even sure it can be professionally cleaned. The sofa is very uncomfortable. It feels like a simple wood frame with very little cushion support. While we typically don't spend alot of time "lounging" in our condo, we were unfortunately forced to spend a few days condo bound due to the hwy closure during the wildfires. The queen bed in the main floor bedroom was not comfortable and was very "springy". When one person would move the entire bed would bounce. We did keep the windows open to have the breeze come through, however, some days the winds were too strong and we couldn't keep the windows open because the screen upstairs would pop off. We also noticed when the windows were open there would be dust/dirt covering all the surfaces and floors of the condo, which required us to sweep/mop and wipe surfaces continually. The breeze didn't keep the loft area not the main floor bedroom cooled. There is an air conditioner but it's located in the far corner of the living room and wasn't able to cool any areas other than the living room and kitchen.The management company was very quick to respond to any issues or concerns that we had, which was wonderful.Overall this condo served our needs for our stay. I believe if some of these minor issues are addressed it would be a 5 star unit.

Great Stay, unit faces the water directly with close view

This property is in a short string of other condos, but I think this one had the best view to the water and good design on the unit. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Great view

Condo is comfortable and well maintained. Beds were comfortable and condo was well supplied for beach visits. View from the lanai was amazing, we watched whales and turtles daily.

The views are spectacular

I spent 10 days with my sister at this property we saw whales continually on the lanai. The grounds are beautiful the unit was spotless and just how it looks in the pictures. I am definitely coming back. I loved my stay.

Awesome vacation get away!

Perfect vacation place! Amazing ocean view, quiet, relaxing place to stay. Dining and shopping short walk away. Tante restaurant was great! Cute gift shops. Walk to marina for boat tours. Turtle sightings every day from the patio! Beautiful! Buzz was great! He gave us lots of suggestions for sights to see and even sang songs for the group on Saturday! Would definately stay again. Thank you!
