  • Summary:

    Finish a beach day with mountain and golf-course views from your private lanai at Shores at Waikoloa 337. This top-floor, one-bedroom condo sleeps two and creates an easy rhythm for a couple: work out in the shared fitness center, take a walk around the gated community's private loop road, play tennis, then cool off in the pool or hot tub. Back home, air conditioning, fast WiFi, two TVs, a full kitchen, and an in-home washer and dryer give you the comforts to stay a while. The beach in front of the Hilton is about half a mile away, with A-Bay, resort golf, shops, and restaurants also close. It is a relaxed, elevated base for two guests who want to explore the Kohala Coast and still look forward to coming home.



    The Space:

    This elegant top-floor condo puts the lanai front and center, with mountain and golf-course views for coffee or a sunset drink. The one-bedroom, one-and-a-half-bath layout sleeps two and includes air conditioning, fast WiFi, two TVs, a dining table, a full kitchen with dishwasher, and an in-home washer and dryer. Elevator access makes the top-floor setting easy from arrival onward.



    Guest Access:

    Guests at Shores at Waikoloa enjoy access to the shared communal pool, hot tub, and fitness gym, plus BBQ grills for easy evenings outdoors.     Waikoloa Beach Resort sits on the Big Island's sunny Kohala Coast, where black lava fields give way to warm, clear water. Anaehoʻomalu Bay, known locally as A-Bay, is the easy choice for a beach day, sunset stroll, or a paddle on calm water. Kings' Shops and Queens' MarketPlace keep dining, groceries, and browsing close, while petroglyph trails and coastal golf add a distinctly Big Island backdrop. It is an easygoing base for families, couples, and friends who want beach days without a complicated plan.



    Getting Around:

    Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.

Wonderful Waikoloa Escape!

Although not on the beach, several beaches are easily walkable, and many within short driving distance. Pool area was clean and quiet. Restaurant choices were plentiful within walking distance.Condo was well maintained, clean, and had a delightful shaded afternoon view. Overall great vacation!

Great property with all of the comforts of home (including welcome snacks). Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, golf and beaches. Washer, dryer, serviceware and beach gear were added perks. Clean and easy access. Very comfortable process. Made our trip a success!

Great Place to Stay!

This property is located in a great resort village with easy access to shopping, restaurants, beaches, golfing and many other amenities. Most everything is within easy walking distance, and there are many paved pathways in the area. This is a super location for exploring the big island's many resources and is close to the airport and Kona. The condo was very clean and comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The lanai was a perfect place to enjoy a cup of Kona coffee in the morning, with a nice breeze and colorful variety of visiting birds in the large tree adjacent. We would love to return!

Quiet condo with mountain views at Shores at Waikoloa

My wife and I stayed here for a week in March to celebrate my birthday and to visit friends who live on the Big Island. The apartment was spacious with a large balcony for outside dining, and we had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It was close to the Kings Shops and Queens Marketplace, plus there was a bar just 100 yards away for casual dining. A minor drawback was that there was not sufficient lighting in the living room or the bedroom to read by in the evenings.

Second visit to the Shores at Waikoloa!

We really enjoyed our two-week stay at this third floor unit. From the large deck, we had a great eastern view of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa, as well as the golf course and lava field; this also made it sunny in the morning as well as cool and shady in the afternoon. The unit is very spacious and well equipped, including nice touches like a coffee grinder, ice maker, great air conditioning, beach chairs/umbrellas, and a very complete set of kitchen utensils and supplies. We’ve stayed at the Shores before and really enjoy the meticulous upkeep, spaciousness, and the amenities.

Great stay

This condo is nice. Nothing fancy but good for the price. The bed was comfortable enough. The pans and knives were great. No spices just S&P. The air turns off every 4 hours which was kind of a pain. I asked for more beach towels, there was only 2 and they were kids size. They were very prompt delivering. Vacasa was easy to deal with. Thanks for letting us stay!

Clean spot however relatively secluded

The condo was large for two people and clean however the owner had control over the thermostat and constantly reset the place to 88 degrees F every 4 hours. This led to a few sleepless nights and is enduring a few hours of the unit trying to get back down when we could change it. The condo has a great view of Mauna Kea and huge patio but by no means is an easy walk to the ocean. I splurged on this site thinking it was close enough to walk but it’s about a 20 minute walk in highly exposed HOT heat. The community is also gated (my first experience with one) and it felt boring to me. Very few people out, almost like a ghost town and those that were there seemed to be a bit dodgy eyed and reclusive, weird vibe altogether. Kona had a much more chill vibe in my mind.

It was great. The Shores are quiet and a lovely place to be. Close to everything. Condo is very clean. It is older however the hosts ensure it is clean and well cared for. The views from this condo are amazing. It was a great stay! Mahalo!
