The location of this vacation home is unbeatable! The only issue we had was the apartment is a little dated and could use some updating. The pull-out bed is also rather uncomfortable. But, if you were like us and just need a place to sleep at night because you’ll be out exploring during the day, then it’s perfect.
It was clean and perfect size. The security makes it secure. I love the view. The front office are very nice and friendly. This is my second time at this place. It’s quiet there.
The views were breath taking, loved the privacy of it all. Easy access to beach, free parking!! Such a gem on the country side of the island for sure!!!
Check in/out was easy and seamless. This unit is a little dated, but does the job. It does get warm in the afternoons, even with the AC running, but that can be expected when being on the 10th floor. The views were awesome!! The beach is a little more difficult to access, very steep drop. The ocean is a little rougher here too, but looks like there would be great snorkeling a little further out. Overall a good stay and would consider staying here again.
Everything, mostly the view from the Lani was amazing. This was our second stay @ the property. This condo was a tick old(pull out bed), but worth it, not sure my son would agree, he had to sleep on the sofa instead. Loved how past renters left condiments we could share. Amazing coffee maker. Neighborhood not so good, but once you are on the property feel super safe.
Such a great location! Other than the stove being out of order (which was communicated by property manager shortly before we arrived, they did provide a hot plate so we could boil water, etc) this unit worked well for us. Would definitely come back!

Great beach/great view
Room needs new everything except appliances. It's just used and outdated. Good price. Location can be tough to get to during rush, but it's worth it. Close enough to local markets and hidden treasure local restaurants. Condo lets you get away and relax on the busiest island. It's a quiet hide away a world apart from only a hour plus from Waikiki.
Great little place, just as listed, with the best view of a beautiful beach. Woke up every morning to spotting sea turtles swimming in the crystal clear water. The area is quieter, not tons around, but that was exactly what we were looking for. Great ocean swims, great pool and hot tub and some good walks close by, like out to Pillbox Point. We rented a car while here which was perfect. The place is a little more dated but is exactly as the pictures show. It was super clean and had a really comfy bed. Also, sleeping to hearing the sounds of the waves was perfect.
We loved our time here.

GOOD AND POOR
The stay was good, the beach beautiful, the condo small and dated but good.
The disappointing part was the responsiveness of the management company staff, the accuracy of information provided (especially directions to the condo) the cleanliness of the condo, the basic cleaning supplies provided for such a short stay(5 days).
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Overall it was ok. It’s very outdated but is clean. The bed wasn’t very comfortable and the pull out couch wasn’t very comfortable for my son. They did just put in brand new appliances. The view is amazing! I noticed the bottom of the sink cupboard has a huge hole in it. The parking lot made me feel safe as it’s gated. My husband found some tools and yanked a bunch of hair from the shower drain. It drained much better after then. Waianae is filled with homeless so be aware of that. Overall it was an ok stay for our first time to Hawaii.

Good stay
We really didn’t know what to expect after reading previous reviews; however, it turned out to be the best for us. The communication could be better as it was almost at the last minute before we got a response to questions. But they did respond and all worked out. As for the VRBO, yes, it could use some very simple updating. It was clean and the building was quiet. It had everything we needed and while people said to stay away from that area, it worked out great. We were about 30 minutes from the Honolulu area, which meant you didn't have to fight for parking or anything else. The people in Oahu were so courteous, especially when it came to driving. Parking at the VRBO is provided for free in a private, gated area and it felt very safe. Looking down from the balcony was a clean, quiet, and secluded beach with wonderful views. We watched two sea turtles swimming back and forth at different times of the day. We really didn't have any complaints about the VRBO. Now on the downside, Oahu has become infested with homeless camps for blocks on the beaches. It does absolutely nothing for the island in regards to the tourists that have a long ago vision of what they might expect. I've been told the other islands are not like that, so it may be a consideration. We ran into homeless camps in numerous areas of Oahu. All in all, I would have given the VRBO a higher rating if the place was updated a bit, and you didn't have to look at the homeless camps from your balcony.
Fantasic condo and a great location. Did have some ants in the kitchen upon arrival, but as long as everything was kept clean, it wasnt much of an issue.
Beautiful views. Not the place to stay if you want the action of Waikiki. Perfect for getting away from it all and relaxing. We have stayed here many times and will continue to do so.
We love staying at the Hawaiian Princess and stay here every trip to Oahu. Have stayed with this host in multiple units. Will continue to stay with them in the future.
The unit is very much in disrepair! Doors missing from cupboards, filthy rug. Had to wash all the dishes as they didn’t seem clean. Took 3 days to get the tv working, my husband was not well when we got here so tv was all he could do. We were given some compensation, so that was appreciated. All in all a unit very much in need of an upgrade!!
