From start to finish, our stay was incredible. Check in was fast and thw staff at the gate were very polite. Responses to my questions were fast. I would definitely stay with them again. Hoping to book our next trip soon.
This place was perfect for our stay! There was 4 adults and my baby and it was a perfect amount of space for everyone. The rooms were so nice and cozy. And I loved that there was a pack and play for our baby as well as a high chair! We also loved all of the beach supplies that were available for use.
Beautiful, very clean and new property in a gated community. Beds were great and the house was fully equipped. Only drawback was location which was 30 miles from Honolulu, taking sometimes 80 minutes on congested highways..Don't play the golf course next door
We loved our stay here. The house was very clean and everything we needed to know was in a binder. They provided towels, so we didn't have to bring any of our own. Neighborhood was extremely nice and quiet. However, the location was a little out-of-the-way for everything we had planned during our stay. The closest event we had planned, which was visiting Pearl Harbor, was 45 mins away. Most things were about 1 to 1.5 hours away. So we loved the home and neighborhood. It just wasn't very conveniently close to anything we had planned to do.
Very nice gated neighborhood. Home is clean and well stocked. Did not have a coffee maker and ended up buying one. Does have espresso machine, however. Community pool closed so if you have children looking forward to swimming make sure it is open prior to booking. Hot water heater on a timer and time was programmed incorrectly, but that was an easy fix. Overall a great property and would book again.
The house is lovely. They have supplied the home with many things that a person might need, beach towels, coffee, dishes, etc.
The neighborhood is nice. The house is about an hour drive from Waikiki. So we were out of the hustle and bustle but close enough that we could visit places like Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, etc.
Our only drawback was we picked this location because they have a pool and hot tub in the community. We were not informed that both were not functioning. If we had known, we would have picked a different location for the kids.
I stayed with my family (total of 8) it was a very lovely home with a beautiful view and plenty of room.The only thing I did notice the house was not that clean, a lot of dust everywhere and had to vacuum multiple times throughout my stay (8+ times)
the second day we were there, we vacuumed and the vacuum picked up so much debris/dust. clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks.
One of the curtains on the master bedroom was placed wrong, my wife had to fix it in order to properly close them.
Overall, we enjoyed the home and recommend to other guests.
We had a truly wonderful stay at Marbella Lane Vrbo. The house is very spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. It is exceptionally well equipped — perfect for beach days as well as for family time. The atmosphere is peaceful and quiet, making it a lovely place to relax and feel at home. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it.
The house was comfortable and well supplied. Kitchen was large and had everything needed to satisfy 6 adults. The appliances were modern and worked well.The beach equipment was great to have.I would highly recommend this property.
When planning our trip I went with the best home for our family of 1 parent and 5 children. Later on I heard over and over that the West side of Oahu was for the locals and that tourists were not welcome. We did not find that to be true at all! While we traveled out of the area each day, all of our experiences with small businesses on the West side were lovely. The home was comfortable and the community gated, which added an extra measure of security before I knew we were in a safe place. We had zero issues with our stay on Mahaka Valley and a wonderful 11 day vacation on Oahu!
The home was exceptional in a high end gated community. Location was great close to some great beaches. A lot of useful beach equipment on the property like snorkeling, boogie boards, cooler, beach chairs and sand toys. Mattress was extremely comfortable and the AC mini-splits in each room functioned perfectly. The not so good was the oven smoked and triggered the alarm even if only preheating. This wouldn’t have been a problem if the grill had propane. The three tanks on the property were all empty. I informed Marbella of this and received a response but they did not confirm the tanks would be refilled. I followed up and asked again and they said they would get someone to fill the tanks. No one came. No follow up. So the grill was useless and to use the oven we had to open all windows and doors, and fan on to avoid triggering the fire alarm. Aside from that, I would highly recommend the home. It was a very enjoyable stay. 5 stars for the home, minus one for the propane tanks being empty and not being refilled when asked.
