Seamist is a beautiful, homely, tranquil and comfortable home away from home. It is beautifully situated within a well manicured mature garden both front and back with shrubs, and flowers. It was a pleasure to have breakfast outside each morning and enjoy sitting in such beautiful surroundings. The bungalow itself it very spacious, light, bright and spotlessly clean . The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could wish for . There is a great powerful shower and a further bathroom. The small cul de sac on which it is situated is calm and quiet , located near to the bakery, deli, butchers, newsagent and The Dining Room restaurant to name a few all within walking distance. A walk in the other direction either via the footpaths and the main road or through the near by St Enodoc Golf golf course and sand dunes brings you to the beautiful dog friendly golden sand beach at Rock, a mere 15 / 20 minutes away. Continue walking around the bay and you will reach Daymer Bay and St. Enodoc Church. At Rock beach there is parking and a number of restaurants and a cafe, a sailing club and the ferry over to Padstow harbour which takes about 5 minutes where there can be found numerous restaurants, cafes and shops. Also not to be missed is Porthilly Beach again a short walk from the Bungalow where mussels are caught and landed . The owners Sarah and Wayland are delightful and a pleasure to speak with . They genuinely care about your stay and are most helpful with any queries you may have and provide lots of information about Rock and the surrounding area. Sue the manager of Seamist also calls to the property to make sure you have everything you need and advises on the surrounding area . We have never been so well looked after. We will definitely recommend Seamist to friends and family and will be returning.
