"Very relaxing place and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There are 3 pheasants that come by each day and they are tame looking for handouts. The wood stove has a door gasket that needs to be fixed so we didn't start a fire and the place does cool down in the evenings but a single space heater was plenty to keep it cozy and there are space heaters for every room. Overall really enjoyed it!"

"Every detail has been thought of! The room was beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and had everything you could need!! You really feel like you have your own private jungle bungalow. Slept like a rock in the comfy bed and the rain on the roof! Eric and Chris were SO great, wish we had more time to chat with them. next time :) It's super close to the park. Will be sending many people their way. Stop looking around and book this place!!"

"If only we could have stayed longer! We had booking the glamping unit, but because of water issues Theresa switched us to the Bungalow, which was so cosy. She agreed alternative breakfast arrangements as we had to leave early on checkout. We only had time to meet the chickens and ducks at the doorstep, but we saw the donkey and goats sheltering from the rain! I would definitely recommend staying here if you're making a trip to Volcano NP. "

"Great clean quaint lodge. Beautiful outlook in very quiet area. Special touch of fruit and goodies for breakfast and a huge bottle of water daily as water is not potable in the Volcano region. Office located at a nearby store which directions are clearly noted when booking the accommodation. Would definitely stay again. "

"The house and the garden were really amazing. Common area was really spacious and the whole house is generally neat and well looked after. Iron, soap, hair dryer etc. all available. There was also a parking space. We arrived quite late (after the check in hours) so the owner left the keys for us and her phone number (there was a telephone inside the house that we could use which was convenient as we are not from the US). "Excellent front desk, service, nice, clean and well appointed room, lovely grounds with huge Koi, pond and garden, and a very nice pool courtyard. There is a park along the water just across the street where it is nice to take a walk and families have picnics in the evening. The restaurant on the property has decent food and nice service. The motel offers many free extras and has a focus on kindness towards people and the environment."
